The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The Hotel is in a great location! We could not have asked for a better experience.

Excellent hotel and would thoroughly recommend. In a quiet location outside of old town but shuttle bus to town stops right outside the hotel and you can be in the old town in ten minutes. Bus stop to Verona and Desenzano just 5 minutes walk away. Nice restaurants and supermarket within 5 minutes walk of hotel too. Rooms look to be variable in style but we had a triple room and whilst more basic / dated in decor it was a clean and comfortable and a decent size, with doors onto a shared first floor patio area but with our own table and chairs. Great breakfasts with plenty of options, and although no restaurant at the hotel in the evening, you can get food until 6 pm from the bar - and really good choice. Lovely lovely pool area, quiet and secluded, unlike some other hotels. Had a lovely time here and would definitely return

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Would thoroughly recommend it. Clean, comfortable, great breakfasts and lovely pool and pool area. Great location about 30 mins walk from old town but there is a shuttle bus that stops outside the Hotel and you can be in the old Town in ten minutes. Lots of good restaurants close to hotel too. Hotel bar serves good selection of food until 6 pm.

Nice hotel, lovely pool, comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. Location perfect, right opposite the circular bus route.

This is a small hotel just outside of the Old Town of Sirmione. The hotel is clean and has wonderful staff who you feel cannot do enough for you. Please dont expect a 5 star hotel at a three star hotel. But do expect everything you need for an enjoyable stay: clean, large enough size room with a bathroom. Breakfast was full of delicious choices, both healthy and treats, for every sort of taste. They serve drinks in the bar and you can also get lunch there too. The pool is more than big enough, there was no rush to get a sun lounger. If you want towels for the pool you either bring your own (not the ones from the bathroom though) or hire some from the hotel at 5Euros per person for the whole of your stay, which is a bargain. There is a shuttle bus in to the old town of Sirmione for 2Euros per person per journey. Or you can walk the 40mins in to the old town, which is a lovely, scenic walk. There are a lot of lovely restaurants in Sirmione; you dont always need to go to the old town.

Very good staying near by Lago di Garda. Very close to historic center of Sirmione but also close to supermarkets if something is missing on your holiday. The Best part is proximity of Sirmione port - we used potential of this place, rent a boat and hit open water! Combination of hotel + Lago di Garda was one of the Best places on our trip trough italy.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Porto Azzuro for7 nights in late August and found this to be great little hotel to explore the beautiful area around Sirmione and Lake Garda. The hotel is situated in a quiet area which we found ideal for a relaxing break. It was around 30 minutes walk into the beautiful historic centre of Sirmione but the hotel offers bicycle hire and there is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel which runs on a loop around Sirmione including the old town. It was only a 5 minutes walk to some lovely bars, and restaurants in the Columbare area. We stayed in a superior double room which was very modern and well appointed, with a spacious balcony. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The air conditioning was good and worked well throughout our stay. We enjoyed using the pool area which was quiet, relaxing with a good sized pool to cool off in hot summer days. The main asset of this hotel though was the friendly and welcoming nature of every staff member we encountered. They always met us with a smile and leftvus feeling they were genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. We were often provided with free snacks including delicious meats and cheese when we purchased drinks from the bar. All in all I would recommend this hotel to for anyone wishing to stay in charming, friendly little hotel within easy reach of a beautiful town and to explore the surrounding area.
