Hotel Porto Azzurro

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Porto Azzuro. All the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Special shout out to Andrea behind the bar who served a delicious range of complimentary snacks alongside the poolside cocktails. We had the 2 bedroom family room which had two balconies, perfect for getting the kids off to sleep and still being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine. We did find the bed mattress to be rather on the hard side but the staff arranged for a mattress topper to be fitted which made it very comfortable. The breakfast and lunch menu had a good selection and the staff were attentive. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The hotel staff were really accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is well situated on the outskirts with a regular shuttle service just across the road to get to the centre. There are plenty of bars, shops and beaches within walking distance without having to go in to the historic centre of Sirmione. I would certainly consider staying here again if visiting the area again in the future. I am going to miss this place . . . Arrivederci !

What sounded like a family room for 5 guests when we reserved - and cost as much or most other similarly described rooms, was simply a regular, very small room, that had 5 beds (1-2 rollaway type beds) crammed in. There was absolutely no room for luggage or shoes much less room to walk between the jammed beds. The only redeeming thing was their pool was nice to use since we weren't granted any later check out than 10am and got to spend half the day there. The location is good otherwise and close to the lake.

great hotel, super nice staff, very clean, good location, good breakfast. the pool is great, renting towel for the pool dor 5 dollars each is kinda strange for the price of the room, but okay… recommended

Superb Hotel, should have a higher star rating. Ive stayed in 5 star hotels nowhere near as good as this. Valentina is a top manager whom leads her team delivering excellent customer service is such a friendly and helpful way. The staff go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Food by the pool was great and such value for money. Special thanks to the staff that made our stay so enjoyable - Andrea, Andrea, Sofia, Anna and Marco....sorry forgot other names. Another 'wow factor' is the free bike hire making it so easy to explore the area. Can't wait to go back. 10/10.

Excellent breakfast, lots of choice. Handy shuttle to Sirmione stops very close to hotel.

Was itching all night and thought I was sick. In the morning I noticed bite marks all over my body and realized that the bed was full of bugs. A lot of hair was also on the shower floor and on one of the pillows. It’s not a clean place at all.

Nice and well positioned to visit Sirmione by foot Breakfast is amazing (lot of local food choices)
