Hotel Porto Azzurro

This is a really nice hotel with great staff. Made to feel very welcome and staff were really helpful with attractions, travel around the city etc. Its located directly opposite the city circular bus that goes around to the Castle (stop 9), and for Euro 2, you can be outside the castle in the main tourist area in well under 10 mins. Would definitely stay here again.

What are the three top components of a hotel stay. 1. Value 2. Comfort 3. Amenities 4. Staff 5. Location This hotel has everything of the above and more. We were here from 16/6 to 21/6/25. The front of the house staff were so helpful and accommodating, including Andreas Andrea and Valentia. I didn't get the names of the breakfast staff, but they, too, retained the ethos of the hotel and were cheerful helpful and wonderful, and the choice of foods for the breakfast was amazing too. What a great start to the day. At first, I thought the bedroom was too minimal, but then you realized that because of the wonderful weather, you will only be in the room for sleeping. But the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was quality. The reception staff would answer every inquiry with some solution or find the information you needed. The price of the stay was very good for the quality of the room and the location. If I had one slight criticism, it would be that although they have over 200 channels on the sat TV, there's not one English speaking channel. The small bar and food facilities were beyond expectations considering the size. Great quality food and service. The pool was really comfortable and never too crowded. There was always a spare sunbed to be had. The shuttle bus stop to the center of Sirmione is directly outside with buses every 20 minutes. Whilst the small town of Columbare is 5 minutes, walk away with a lot of restaurants. If I were to return to Sirmione, I would without doubt, consider this hotel. Easiest 5* ever..

this was our third stay in four years and we again were not disapointed as the cleanlinest,freindly staff and location were top notch. swimming pool was well maintained with plenty of sun loungers towels were replaced ever day in your room no negatives to report on

A nice, welcoming and well managed hotel. The room was comfortable and a good size. Breakfast had plenty of choice especially if you want just a continental breakfast. The swimming pool and sun lounging areas are very nice.

The best stay so far! Breakfast was delicious, great location, our room very spacious with a beautiful balcony, easy to park! Loved our stay and wil come back!

Great hotel in a nice location. Most of the staff were excellent, especially Andrea, the barman. Great customer service skills. One lady at lobby was less friendly when I was checking in on Sunday, but overall the experience was very positive. The breakfast had great options. I’ll definitely come back when visiting Lake Garda again.

Had a wonderful stay here, everyone was so helpful and kind. The location is perfect. Would definitely come back!
