"The staff was totally rude, and I told other people in the area (I was at a high school reunion)."

The staff cancelled our room. We got there and had no place to stay. Luckily a friend living in the area found us another hotel.

"Don't believe what you see in pictures."

Nothing!

The place in the pictures looked remodeled when in fact it wasn't, also showed a breakfast area with the usual waffle maker, etc., and there wasn't. All still from the 1950's which is fine, provided you paint it to make it look presentable. Don't know how to wash windows or paint. Husband tried to open the door from the inside, it took me several minutes to figure it out, it wasn't the locks, the door was stuck. Wouldn't have been great if there had been an emergency. Also looked up the property online in its name and it said the place was permanently closed. That gave me a nice warm and fuzzy feeling!
