Garden Palace Hotel

4 nights sightseeing. Room and Breakfast were very good.

The 22 bus from the Airport passes very close. Hotel very pleasant and situated on the edge of the Old City and the River. Breakfast was reasonable. I and my wife were quite happy with our stay.

Vehicle parking is at a premium for space and cost anywhere in "old-town" Riga and ticket machines may not work. Best to plan your stay on the weekend where parking has more "free" hours. On the "flip-side", you don't need a car to stay here and explore many notable venues and sights.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time for a short stay of only 2 days. We paid for a premium room and they upgraded to a luxury 2 story apartment at no extra charge. The room was superb

This hotel is well located and is close to the start of the old town. There are many hotels and I guess it depends on what you are looking for. This hotel is rated as a four star hotel, let me be quick to say, it isn't. This is not a hotel to relax in, it is a hotel to base yourself whilst in Riga and only return when you have to sleep. The furniture is dark and it is quite bleak despite trying to place baroque/rococo style furniture about the place.

A nice hotel with good a location in Riga's Old Town. We used the Hotels pick up service from the airport and that worked really well. The beds weren't fantastic and I wouldn't exactly call it a "power shower" in the bathroom either. Wouldn't have an issue with staying here again.

The Hotel is old and the room look not very clean, the single beds are very small. The breakfast is ok, but definitely this hotel is not 4 ****. This is just poor 3 *** standards.

We stayed here for 3 nights and was very close to the house of the blackheads and the cathedral. Breakfast was good and included at no additional charge. Wifi worked well as we were able to stream movies in our room. Big room, bed was OK, nothing to comfortable but it was good enough to sleep in. Overall a good place to stay in Riga for fairly inexpensive.
