"Room is a hot box, temperature over 80 degrees, NO AIR. Room filfy and dirty"

EMBASSY SUITES MONTREAL We checked in earlier today April 29th) room 1107 and found the temperature in the room at 87 degrees !! We turned on the air conditioning and after 3 hours the temperature dropped to 84 degrees. A sweat box ! We tried to open the window for air and only one window opened so we had to get maintenance to come to our room to open the other window. The maintenance guy said the air conditioning is out of service !! He said there was a notice left on top of the front desk but we did not notice it when we checked in. We were NOT notified of this prior to our arrival 😡🤬...Because all hotels are booked in the area for the SIAL show, we could not move from this hotel and are stuck. We are staying another night and checking out Friday. Add to this, there is only one elevator working and that means long line-ups for the elevator and with no air conditioning in the building elevators were hot and crowded !! 🤬😡 In addition, the room was dirty and filthy and smelled of dog. The couch and chairs very uncomfortable to sit it. The couch is broken at one end making it impossible to sit there. This is certainly one of the worst stays we have ever had at a Hilton hotel 😡 I would appreciate your attention to this urgent matter and we need a response. HELP !! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ! Please advise. Thanks Dan

La chambre donne sur des tas de poubelles et la réceptrice ne veut rien savoir, d'autant l'hôtel et sous les travaux qui ne sont mentionnés nulle part avant la réservation.

"Great location and Staff, Run down and broken room facilities"

Location is great. Bar staff is lovely. Parking is good, even though you are not guaranteed a spot.

The shower was broken, the toilet kept getting stopped up, as it didn't work properly. There was NOTHING in the kitchen. No glasses, plates or silverwear. The doors on the closets hardly closed.
