Super 8 by Wyndham Windsor NS

I stay here because it is the only large hotel in the area and because they allow dogs. Hotel allows dogs and is near where I need to visit, but unclean rooms and poor quality breakfast make the stay not pleasant.

No eggs -- need eggs! Toaster machine did not work well. Coffee was good but the digital machine was difficult to figure out: What the difference between black coffee and Coffee Americana?? And why does super8 charge a sustainability fee (2.5%) when other hotels in the province do not?

Excellent value for money.

Pool could do with a refurbishment.

Very basic continental breakfast, terrible coffee. The room was in okay condition, clearly well used but tolerable. The AC unit was EXTREMELY loud, there was almost constant noise from other guests in the hallway and the floor above. The bed was clean and comfortable, although the shower curtain was slightly mouldy, one of the bath towels was stained/dirty, and the shower was out of conditioner. All in all the hotel stay was fine for one night. But at the low end of acceptable.

Internet was fast

The rooms eapecially one of them were being renovated and you could see drywall repair patches all around the room. The other room had a patch and you could see the doorknob was cut out and there were holes. The carpets were stained. I did not feel comfortable sleeping here as every noise could be heard because the walls were paper thin. The reception lady was very nice and the rooms were close to the exit which made it convenient for our needs. She said she'd email the GM but we heard nothing as she could not do anything to compensate us because we bought through Expedia. I paid two rooms and was not happy with the condition they were in for the price. Breakfast was busy but you could find something to eat.

Breakfast was somewhat limited. TV remote was barely working. Staff was friendly and helpful.
