Econo Lodge Monticello

Running from Cat 4 Hurricane Milton. It was the last room available, so we were pleasantly surprised that the room was so clean and comfortable! We did not arrive till after 1am but the clerk called somewhere around midnight to make sure we were still coming! It was nice to be assured our room would be available when we finally got there!!!

The bathroom was immaculate

Location was straight off the highway and convenient. The price was right. Room was ready on time. Very no frills. A/C worked well.

Everything about the room was aged including the mattresses. It was clean but everything was super worn, scratched and old as the hills. Looked like mold in the bathroom ceiling.

There were stains on the cover bed. There are stains all over the carpet and dirty stains on the wall. Whatever they were using to clean made me nauseous. We had to go to a different hotel.

Very nice and caring staff. Clean. Affordable
