Bali Rich Villas

Our 6 day stay started off good, staff were really nice, respectful and welcoming. Location is great with plenty of option on the road, and close to mainstrip on Sunset. It's just that what we booked for online is not exactly what we got when we turned up. We booked the one bedroom deluxe villa, 200sqm, with indoor living room, and buffet breakfast (as advertised on Wotif). We were instead taken to a two bedroom villa but with one room locked off, with no indoor living room, therefore our villa was much smaller than what we paid for. The excuse given was all the one bedroom villas had been booked out and they tries to accommodate with the next best option - which is fine, if they had made that clear at the time of booking or even when we checked in. As for the lack of buffet breakfast, the hotel basically said that's Wotif's fault and only offered one measly dinner as compensation. As I said before, the pictures online don't match reality. The rooms do look tired and patch up work done instead of renewal. Toilets don't flush well, with some flooding. Pool stayed uncleaned till we asked. I saw the hotel got awards back in 2012. Unfortunately it's probably stayed looking like it was since 2012. We had friends staying at other nearby accommodation and they probably got more bang for their buck. Had we not been misled with the villa size and breakfast, and had the place been updated and upkept, then we would've really enjoyed our first visit to Bali.

The property was average the food was bad we had not hot water for the first 24hrs no good after travelling from Australia the pool wasn’t useable won’t go back

We were honestly looking forward to staying here for our first time in Bali due to the great reviews and private pool, however.. disappointed is the best word to describe it. The room itself was spacious, very big bathroom; however 5 out of our 8 night stay, we either had No water or no hot water and it was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Sometimes we wouldn't be able to shower until late in the evening between 10pm-1am. The insect cloth over the bed was filthy and there were a lot of very big, obvious and questionable stains. The bed sheets weren't changed at all during our stay.. one of us had a small cut on her foot and they didn't even change the sheets from the blood? We had to call and ask for it to be changed. After check out, we asked if we could use a public facility to shower after going to the beach before our flight.. as a nice gesture, they offered us the spa however there was no hot water or soapto use. They then offered us a vacant room to shower. The staff however, were absolutely lovely!

Very warm hospitality with friendly and helpful staff. The villa is spacious amd condition is above average compared to other villa. Very minimal living creatives at outdoor area. Most mosquitos can be expelled away. Pool water reasonably clean. Good location with a Food Mall (non local supermarket) just at the corner (though no meat/vegetables available). Would extend the stay but other hotels already booked and not cancellable. But definitely will visit again for our next trip in Bali.

The villa was a complete misrepresentation. It appears to have had the pictures taken when it was first built and has not had any work done since. The mould covers whole walls where the paint bubbles and flakes onto the bed and ground, the pool spa doesn't work, the mirrors are pitted, the lighting it terrible, the bathroom towels were stained, bed is uncomfortable, gardens are not maintained and after several requests the grass still wasn't mowed and to top it off it is not even located where advertised. please don't be fooled by fake reviews and pictures like we were.

Hotel staff was excellent and helpful but the resort is in need of renovations. First villa's water would stop working repeatedly and was full of mosquitos. Second villa after requesting to move was much nicer but hotel quality is definitely lacking.

Needs TLC but when something broke they fixed it quickly and the staff are amazing going above and beyond to make you feel welcome, relaxed and safe.

An incredible hotel. If you're looking for a private villa with private pool, some tranquility and a place to escape then Bali Rich are they villas for you. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a romantic break!
