"Nice surprise! "

We got upgraded to a loft with a jacuzzi even though we booked last minute due to the canceled ferry. It was a wonderful surprise and we feel so lucky to be the first guests for that room according to the receptionist. Will be back again!

"Exceptional"

This was my third visit to Santorini and my third stay at Galatia. That tells you a lot. In previous visits I had stayed in the older rooms overlooking the small pool. This time I stayed in a newer block a few metres away. It's spotlessly clean, i like the shower in the newer block better and there is a small roof terrace with sun beds and jacuzzi. Great to have a little fridge and air con in the room. It's a 10 minute uphill walk into town so you can have the quiet of the hotel and the frenzy of the town which works well for me. If you can't manage hills and steps then Santorini is not the place for you! Family-run hotel and everyone is extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. My previous 2 visits were in October, the latest in April. In future i will return in October - there was a constant cold breeze in April and many hotels were busy doing last minute building works ahead of May 1st opening so noisy. Great hotel for the price and Santorini is a very beautiful island.

The property was beautiful. Unfortunately we went during a storm. There was water leaking from all exterior windows and doors into our room. Other than that the room was comfy, the bed was okay, and the bathroom was small but we had everything g we needed.

"good location, fair accomodations"

While the location was great, the room was small, and not that clean when we arrived. The reviews I read talked about a great breakfast, but there was no breakfast when we went. We stayed here for 2 nights and then moved to Oia, so ultimately it worked out.
