Ramada by Wyndham Sibiu

We were in the hotel for two nights. The room is clean and big enough but a bit old. Breakfast was disappointing and did not match the standard of the Ramada Hotels. Excellent location adjacent to the Old City. Parking at the hotel in the garage is not covered 5 euros to 24 hours. Indoor parking costs 10 Euros per 24 hours. Parking on the street near the hotel at a price of 0.21 euro to 8 hours.

The personnel is not friendly, the rooms are not equipped as 4* hotel

Nice modern hotel near the old town of Sibiu. The room was spacious and comfortable, The buffet breakfast was good. Parking is available but you have to pay, access to and out of the car park is not automatic nor key-controlled, you have to go to the Reception and ask one of the staff to go out to raise the car park barrier for you everytime. The lifts inside the hotel are also key-controlled. However, the room key has to be re-validated EVERYDAY, which is inconvenient and a bit stupid.

We arrived late and went to bed early. In the morning, we noticed the shower still had used hotel body gel in the stall as well as no tissue paper. There was a sign for complimentary items but unknown what was complimentary. Upon checkout, I discussed our displeasure with the cleanliness of the room and found out bottles of water were the complimentary items which were not there. The front desk did apologize and didn't make us pay the parking. Would have second thoughts on staying here in the future.

Receptionists are unfriendly. Needed a room key to access everything - elevator doesn't let you select a floor and we were unable to reach friend's room on another floor. Stairs are inaccessible. Bathroom strangely does not have a real door - does not reach the floor and does not lock!

Service was horrible. Sibiu was sort of disappointing. Our room was one of the better ones we saw in Romania and the breakfast was really good. Location was very walkable. But the staff was the absolute worse we have seen.

Multiple curly hairs in the bathroom - sink, toilet and tub. mold in the bathroom, dirty carpet full of mud, the internet did not work during our intire stay of 4 days, the minibar was not working so all the drinks were warm, the entry light was broken so you could not see inside the closet, you could not change the room temperature which was set on 27 degrees, the parking system required for you to get out of the car twice when going in the garage and twice when going out. Regarding the Internet, their IT expert didn't even bother to come and help even though we complained multiple time to the front desk - the answer I received is that their internet doesn't work on Apple laptops. How is this even possible?!?!?! Extreamly dissapointing experience and 100% I will not stay here again.

We stayed on a Saturday and there was a party downstaires. We could hear the noise. For a 4 stars hotel I found that inappropriate. Dont't book book a room if you sleep there Saturday night!!!

Our room was fabulous. We had a corner room so we could see the valley. Even the elevator had views. The room was very comfortable except we couldn't figure out how to turn down the heat so we were very warm. We didn't ask for assistance with this because we were always exhausted from our sight seeing. The hotel is very close to old town, where you can find the most amazing pastries and coffee and steak houses and shopping. The restaurants in the hotel did not smell appetizing and we did not try them. The man at the front desk gave me a very demeaning look when I asked about laundry facilities. I thought since it was part of an American hotel chain, a washer and dryer was a reasonable request. The hotel laundry service was prohibitively expensive. But overall, I would stay at this hotel again because of the nice room and the beautiful views. The "kitchenette" was an area with a microwave. No sink, no fridge, no plates or utensils. Our room actually had two bathrooms, which we felt was very luxurious.

I was staying in a Junior Suite. The room was lovely and had great views. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Only negative remark concerns the bathrooms. Both shower and bath need to be serviced. For example, there is no shower head in the shower. Otherwise love the hotel and I'll definitely return.
