The Palms at Pelican Cove

Good experience

We stayed in a bungalow. The room wasnt very clean. There is a big hole in the floor under the flooring by the door. Tried to avoid it so we wouldn't fall through. Service at the restaurants is very slow if they open. Most of the time not open when their supposed to be. Shower is so small. Less than 3 ft by 3 ft. Basically slept there and left for the day our entore trip. Pool is dirty. Lots of dead palm leaves all over. We had to ask for them to clean our patio

Friendly staff, things around the property could use some repair/upgrading, but a very relaxed place to hang out and just chill. Close to downtown Christiansted and situated directly on the beach.

I really wish I could give this place a higher review unfortunately it is what it is. The property itself is located on a beautiful bay in a lovely palm tree grove . However, the property itself is really rundown and in need of an update and some serious TLC. The staff tried their best to make the place work however they were overwhelmed, even when the place was quiet. The food was average at best with extended wait times . I’m told the property has been sold. I hope the new owners are able to get this place up and running the way it should be. it has immense potential. A strong shout out to the manager, Ms. Saria Warner..She tried her best to make our stay tolerable.

Beautiful ocean view, staff friendly, food not so great. I understand “ Island time” but service slow and lack of availability of items such as lemon or club soda with our week stay was frustrating. We were able to change our room after night one from lower level to second floor which provided an excellent view, appreciate that! Needed to taxi every where and I was personally not prepared for the need of cash not card. Caribbean night outstanding! Overall it is a hotel under change of management from what I understand.

Right on the beach… Loved it!

We enjoyed our time here. Was quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Bar staff great. Food service poor. Poor upkeep

Star was awesome. She got us an early check-in and was gracious in welcoming us with 2 tickets for rum punch. Room was clean and comfortable with beautiful ocean view from balcony. The young lady tending bar did a great job.

This was a return trip from six years ago. So sad. The grounds were unkempt. The lighting around the entire property was physically destroyed. The rooms were dirty and unchanged from 6 years ago. There was filth in the microwave, no coffee and damaged tiles in the bathroom. The rooms had smoke detectors or sprinklers. The staff was trying their best - truly. Pleasant and professional. But we learned that the new owner is just milking the Cove for cash and making no effort to improve the resort - let alone make it safe. It pains me to write this. The location is excellent. The staff trying their best with no help from the owner.
