Homewood Suites by Hilton Baltimore

As I was waiting to board my severely delayed flight, I got a text from the hotel, introducing themselves asking about my stay. I replied that I’d be arriving late, seeking guidance. They never bothered to respond. I checked in online, but the app failed to provide a digital key, so I had to go to the front desk. I arrived in the small hours of the morning thanks to my delayed flight. There was no valet parking. The check in guy was rude and unhelpful. They proceeded to give me a map to the parking facility that had been photocopied so many times it was illegible. I was told I must download some app just to pay for parking, which was not mentioned ahead of time. So figure an extra $25 a night for parking. Then they informed me they were ‘out’ of water, offered no welcome gift or upgrade despite being a Diamond. The expensive parking was hard to find, I suggest using GPS rather than the bad map they hand out. But it was well lit and included some EV charging options. The room was mediocre, dated, in need of refreshing. The bed was okay, just ordinary. The bathroom was incredibly old fashioned, including a shower in an aging stained tub, like in the 1980s. Who the heck takes a bath in a hotel like this? Minimal number of towels and bare minimum amenities as mandated by Hilton. All in all it was a disappointing hotel, well overpriced. The rooms were furnished with the absolute minimum, nothing more. No wow factor or anything to make the stay feel special. I literally can’t think of a single reason to pick this property over any of the many other options in the vicinity.

I want to start by saying that the staff that run the place are nice as can be. They do what they can to help youbwith what they are working with. Hilton on the other hand, this place is eay of of touch to what I used to know as Hilton standards. Old wall paper peeling off the walls, would lose water pressure in our shower when an adjoining room turned on the water. The tub was different colors due to be being re enameled in the wrong color. I had to fix the toliet handle as it fell off and I wasnt going to wait for someone to come fix it. No customer should ever have to worry about this many issues when trying to enjoy vacation. Needless to say my wife and I will no longer be staying at any Hilton hotels. The Raddison and Marriott are much better quality wise.

Great stay

The furniture in the room had some type of fluid stain stains on the sofa to the effect that we had to use a blanket to cover it up to sit down. I was told by an not so pleasant staff member that there were no other accommodations. Sad situation for my wife's birthday

Yes the hotel is dated. It could use a makeover. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean, but the furniture needs to be replaced. Huge stains on the couch, the light fixture was broken in the bar area, rug definitely needed replacing as well. I called for extra pillows three times…. Only to be told 5 hours late they didn’t have any. It was nice having Starbucks on site & the hot breakfast.

Great view. Room could use a few updates.

Very convenient for our stay. Our last night the adjacent room had its television on all night long which was annoying.

Staff was super friendly, room was clean and and breakfast a bonus!

Seems like they might not have enough staff while i stayed but it was a little dirty. Front service was really slow and i had to to wait till 5pm to get a room.

The property was nice. Two things: the fold out sofa was uncomfortable for my son. Getting to the parking garage is difficult with all the one way streets plus the parking garage has no visible signs.
