The room and environment provided a really nice experience. The breakfast and attention to detail by the owner was great. Everything went smoothly and we had a great time.

Friendly and helpful, Kate and Ken provided restaurant choices, recommendations on sight seeing and overall were welcoming and hospitable. Power went out on Saturday evening, but we had a wonderful time anyway.

We spent 2 nights at the Joshua Grindle Inn and were very happy with our choice. It was perhaps a little tired in some areas but not were it counted. The room was very comfortable and although there are no TVs in the rooms this wasn’t an issue for us. Cookies were available from late afternoon with tea available all day in the parlour and breakfast was great. Our hosts were very friendly as well.

Great choice to stay , it’s very comfortable and the place it’s close to the main areas of Mendocino. Breakfast was awesome, the people that take care of this place , take pride in what they do. Definitely will choose this place for a future stay.

A beautiful character property in a lovely setting with a short walk into town. very comfortable bed and room; excellent washroom facilities. Delicious breakfast. Would come again any time!

Charming Victorian house, with antique furniture and modern baths. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will be back!
