Joshua Grindle Inn

Beautiful setting, very welcoming staff, excellent breakfast that includes yogurt, granola, fruit along with a warm entree, for example, quiche and potatoes. Very typical amenities of a bed and breakfast (no TV which is a plus in my view). We enjoyed the inn very much.

We booked our stay before we knew there would be epic monsoon rains. Such a cozy place to hole up, even when the weather is terrible. Maybe especially so. We cozied up in the parlor for the afternoon, and had a wonderful stay. Homey and comfortable without being too frilly like some places are. Jeff rocks a mean quiche, and the breakfast is the best! Very easy walking distance to restaurants and to the ocean.

Nice bed and breakfast. A little more rustic than I would like. Coffee and fruit were delicious, meal was a little bland. Very convenient and an easy walk to town.

Beautiful Historic Hotel in the village of Mendocino . The innkeepers were so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast .

Great location. Easy walk into the village. Also, very much liked that breakfast was between 8:30-10:00 (as opposed to a specific time). Much more relaxing for a vacation get away.

Nice inn that is walking distance to downtown and beach. There are several restaurants nearby. The inn is a nice place to relax.

Hosts Lindsay and Jeff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious Other guests were also very friendly.

Location was excellent, hosts Lindsay and Jeff were gracious, breakfast was wonderful and fellow guests at breakfast were a delight to meet. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here again when we visit beautiful Mendocino.

A rather nice B and B. Pleasant room, with fire place. Good comfort. An easy walk from town. I think the hosts could do a better job in the afternoon and early evening. Cookies were good but the Inn could do more to stimulate some social interaction of the guests. A one hour wine tasting perhaps? Fine breakfast.

Very quiet Historic town/village. The owners are nice people that make you feel like family. The breakfast is very good. It was a nice 3 day / 2 night stay.
