We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The animation team was fantastic, especially Leslie, who made every activity so much fun. The evening programs were always entertaining and full of variety. The food was delicious, the rooms and facilities were very clean, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

"Outstanding"

10.0

We have just arrived back from Sol Cosmopolitan and can honestly say that it has been amazing. All staff from all aspects have been outstanding. We booked this holiday as part of our sons early 21st Birthday celebrations and the hotel had a surpise birthday cake delivered to his room. All staff work so hard everyday. The food in both the snack bar and main restaurant was excellent and such a great variation to cover all tastes. A very special mention is to Leslie, Alice, Fanny, Felcia and the rest of the animation team who are all amazing. From their daily walk about engaging with the guests every morning to the activities. Aqua Gym was absolutely fantastic. All nationalities of all age groups and genders joining in was such good fun. Even for those not wanting to get in the pool were dancing from their sunbeds. It created such a wonderful experience with lots of laughter and smiles. Our son joined the animation team in most activities. It was also great that the animation team were allowed to have fun with the guests in their own time. This helped our son who didn't want to spend all of his time with us and he has made some friends for life from various nationalities. We are hoping to all meet up again next year at this hotel but for longer. I truly hope that they keep the animation team together for our return visit. Thank you Sol Cosmopolitan and keep up the excellent work. You are all amazing ❤️

"Great all-inclusive stay in Rhodes"

10.0

We really enjoyed our stay at this all-inclusive hotel. The rooms were standard but clean, with very good hygiene throughout the whole property. The food selection was varied and tasty, with plenty of options to choose from — and the eggs benedict at breakfast were definitely a highlight! The pool area was spacious, with lots of sunbeds available, so we never had trouble finding a spot. The animation team deserves special mention — they were enthusiastic, entertaining, and brought a lot of energy to the resort. Evening shows, however, were sometimes a bit hit-and-miss. There were only a few downsides: the shower curtain felt outdated, and the bar in the evening was too small, which meant we rarely got to sit outside after dinner. Overall, the staff were excellent — from the housekeeping team to the entertainers — and really made the experience enjoyable. Congratulations to the whole team for their hard work and friendliness.

"Was okay"

6.0

Visited for 10 days. I have already put on a review about the massage from which my husband gave Valerios a score of 9 out of 10, my hubby enjoys a good massage! And big shout out to Mikes (Al) and Katerina in the bar of an evening, always happy and smiling nothing too much trouble. Anyway, on to the other stuff. Hotel - can be an issue if you have trouble walking as quite a few steps around the property. However, hotel is always clean and staff try very hard, albeit somewhat over stretched so please be patient but hate to think what it is like in the height of summer but presume they’ll have extra staff? Communial toilets are always spotless around the hotel and all communial areas clean and smell lovely. Entertainment - staff work very hard and try to get people to join in with aqua aerobics/ water polo/ beer pong and other various games. And like any other hotel they have a quiet pool and a noisier pool so not quite sure why people moan about this, it’s the same in all hotels I’ve been to around the world, you have a choice so sit there or not however the quite pool isn’t so quite think an adult pool would have been a better option. And why are so many kids here and not in school yes I am talking about Brits as well? Evening Entertainment - the usually holiday entertainment really, below average, but we did thoroughly enjoy the Bruno Mars, Rhianna and James Brown Tribute act - James Brown you were sooooo funny!! But unfortunately thats where it ends but again you can’t please everyone so you all might enjoy bingo, karaoke, party night but nobody seemed to and certainly shouldn’t be down to the poor day entertainment staff to try and make up the evening entertainment, acts should be booked. You need a few more acts like Bruno at least he got guests involved and could sing. What happened with ABBA! Two dark haired girls that couldn’t sing. You really need to sort the situation evening entertainment out as there is nowhere else and nothing else to do! Staff - all staff have been lovely, happy and nothing too much trouble they always have a smile on their face. Room - nice enough, bit odd where the lighting is as it’s not very bright, women’s point of view as I like to sit and put my make up on at the dressing table but can’t see, lol! Just an observation maybe it’s just me so I just stand up in the bathroom as lighting was better. No plug socket in the bathroom which we thought was strange so had to charge our toothbrushes in the bedroom area. And why have a towel rack directly above the toilet there is plenty of room for shelves under the sink. I just don’t like using a towel once but you need to air it which you can’t do due to the location of the towel rail above the loo, again not a big deal just odd as they have recently refurbished these rooms as I understand it. The shower is fab and soap dispenser in the shower and by the sink so no need to take shower gel unless you have a preference to your own that is. We opted for a seaview room so lovely sunset to be seen each evening. Room has great fridge so you can put your water etc in there. Rooms are cleaned daily which is nice. Guests - rude, rude, rude! I’ve never been anywhere where guests are so rude, bump into you and never say sorry, don’t know what waiting in line means for the majority of them, no manners whatsoever! Yes I did tell a few albeit they didn’t speak English but I’m sure they got my point!!! Beach - we’re not really beach people but ventured over the road for a look! Not much to report really, stony beach and rough sea but people like different things so that 10 minute visit was enough for us. Sunbeds - well, we were quite shocked to find the hotel allows guests to actually put towels on the sunbeds each morning even if they don’t use them. This has got to be the first hotel, having stayed at many hotels over the years, that allows that, so you have to follow suite otherwise you won’t get a bed. Don’t get me won’t, you don’t need to get up in the middle of the night but by 8.00am you might be pushing your luck. Having said that, may husband is a light sleeping and had a cuppa on our balcony and said he saw cleaners at 5.00am but he was wrong it was a guest putting towels out!!! But we’re here in June so I’d dread to think what it’s like during the summer holidays! Think you’ll have to camp out all night so maybe bringing a tent would be a good idea 🤣 to be honest the pool areas aren’t really that big for the size of the hotel so I guess that’s one of the main reasons. Anyway, you have been warned so if you are intending to visit during the school holidays at least you can save your beds. There is a fee of 10 Euros per towel but it’s only a deposit and you get this returned to you at the end of the holiday. You can also change your towels free of charge from the Spa located on the 3rd floor every 2 to 3 days. Food - food wasn’t bad but not good either. They had a Greek themed evening which was lovely one evening and a not too bad Chinese night but apart form that it was very mediocre. Breakfast always a good selection but the porridge next to the carrots used to make us laugh. There was a microwave so we used that on occasion as most of the food was only lukewarm warm but they are continuously monitoring the dishes and replenishing them. Had beef steaks one evening which we thought would he nice but turned out to be liver, very odd, but I guess that’s their take on beef. We ate at the Indian restaurant next door a few evenings which was lovely. Pool snack bar had a variety of items during the day such as gyros, pizza, hot dogs, nuggets, chicken, fish, salads and in the afternoon a few cakes and fruit. You could help yourself to ice cream which was really tasty but only available at the pool bar and never in the main restaurant which I thought was odd as adults and children enjoy ice cream after a meal but they do have lots of cakes/ jelly/ other desserts. Everywhere seems to cater for Europeans but not to out tastes which seemed to be the case for all Brits we spoke to so not good I’m sorry to say. Would we return? No unfortunately. I’d give this hotel a 6 out of 10 but hey everyone has their own opinions these were just some of ours. Happy holidays people! Before I go…… Rhodes Old Town - buses take you to old town costing €2.50 per person but can be a bit intermittent, we’d y opted to use the taxi for €10 quicker and easier and worth the extra €5 we thought as you could wait a while for the bus but if you do wait for the bus share a taxi if there is another couple waiting, same cost that way. Both bus and taxi directly by the beach outside of hotel. Rhodes Old Town is stunning! A must see even if you just visit once. We went late afternoon, had a beer and people watched then wandered the lovely cobbled streets and shops and had dinner later that evening in a lovely family run Greek Taverna it was beautiful. We ate at the Sartaj Indian a couple of times which is located next to the hotel and was lovely and full of Brits on both occasions so think that says it all.

"Great hotel"

10.0

I always feel compelled to write reviews on hotels as we usually book going by other positive reviews and this did not disappoint , Everything was lovely ! Room was cleaned spotless every day, lovely sea view spacious balcony. Reception staff always happy to help inc booking taxis , food really good nice variety of meats and veg and fresh cooked pastas and pizzas. The snack pool bar was my highlight serving hot food around 11-4 particularly the gyros ! Waiting staff so attentive with cleanliness off restaurant! Bar team always friendly beer was nice, cocktails of the day! Location great, along a nice strip with plenty of restaurants and right on the beach. Shout out yanis bar at the bottom of the hotel great for sports and a cold pint of mythos. We didn’t have kids but saw plenty of familes having great times and plenty to do with the kids we would bring kids back here if we did. Thank you Leslie on the entertainment for making us laugh each day you have a great voice. Pool entertainment certain times of the day but not all day long which is nice ! Taxi to Rhodes old town 14 euros , 10 euros back. Lovely hotel, well run , can’t go wrong. Thank you team sol cosmopolitan.

10.0

First family holiday with our 10 month old girl. All I can say was FANTASTIC about everything! The staff as a whole from the first greeting at the reception to the last goodbyes at the restaurant everyone was truly so kind and welcoming! We’ve had so much fun everyday watching Leslie and his team doing aqua gym with all the guests, I have never seen so much people joining in! The food was excellent! Amazing first family holiday we will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family with young children! Thank you to everyone at Sol cosmopolitan!
