Location was close to lakefront

The room was dirty, walls were thin and the A/C was very loud. Also, mattress was extremely soft.

The only thing that was enjoyable about the property was how close it is to the water and food places.

The staff was beyond rude. Also there was nothing put in place for the inconvenience of the broken ice machine. Not only that, simply asking for towels we were met with rude attitude. We were told we couldn’t overuse the AC in the room as well. We’ve traveled to Havasu for the past 6 years, and never had such a miserable experience. We decided to end our trip early due to the experience we had at this hotel.

The staff was extremely rude and not understanding at all. When we have a lot of money in a truck and boat and then there’s a car parked back there blocking 1 of the 3 boat spots, how that car would get out without hitting us. Not respectful or caring.

Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable.bathroom was very clean

Desk clerk was not very friendly and charged me thirty bucks for my dog and then I get the bill and it's thirty eight dollars. Half the price of the room. In the morning I went to check out and nobody was in the office and there was a sign to call this number for assistance. I won't be staying at this place again.

We were greeted by an angry staff arguing with a guest trying to get a refund. Very hostile first impression. Half dressed people in the lobby who looked like they live there. Several barking dogs around the entrance. We were yelled at because we showed up before 3pm. Old furniture out back. Trash and debris all over the property. Definitely not up to the standards for Choice chain. We couldn't even stay because we were in fear of our safety. Attempts to file a complaint were unsuccessful. This location needs to be reconsidered.

There is a standard we have come to expect from Choice Privilege hotels. This location fell flat. When a guest can't feel safe , it's time to consider another chain. We were so disappointed. Needless to say, it ruined our get away. I wish I would have thought to take pictures but behavior was surely recorded on security cameras. I should be entitled to a refund since I paid for insurance but more importantly, lakeside should not be on your options
