"Screw these money hungry jerks. They steal deposits"

The location was amazing. The room was nice.

They refused to give me a receipt for the deposit which after taxes was $108. After I went back up there, the person at the desk assured me I would receive my deposit back when I checked out. I checked out, the guy checked my room. We made sure he did before we left so I could get my deposit back. He said we were good. So I wait 3-7 days and I don't get my deposit back. So I call them. The guy says yes we will refund you $100 back to your card. I say ok and hang up. Now I have to dispute the charge with my card and bank because they never refunded my deposit. I also don't have a receipt so now I may not even get my money back. I'm a single mom and this hurt me. I didn't have a $100 to lose because a motel is greedy.

"Cheap, clean but plan on using steps"

Bed was comfortable and shower was clean

There was no elevator. Had to carry suitcases up a flight of stairs. $8 was charged unexpectedly for fees which was not in the fine print. Ice maker broken and front desk person not the friendliest after we questioned the $8, second floor accommodations and broken ice machine.
