"False advertising on the behalf of booking.com and the hotel"

This was hands down one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment I walked in, the entire place smelled absolutely foul. The front desk manager was walking around barefoot, which set the tone immediately. The bedroom was not properly cleaned, the shower was filthy, and there was a trail of some kind of sludge sitting around the base of it. The whole building felt neglected, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable for guests. Honestly, this place felt like it should be condemned. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

Booking.com promised me a refund, but I was still charged for all 5 nights — even though the hotel was so disgusting and unsanitary that I couldn’t stay. I travel a lot for work, and I have never had to leave a hotel early like that. The room was not clean, the shower was filthy, there was sludge around the base of it, and the entire building smelled absolutely awful. To make it worse, the manager was walking around barefoot at the front desk. The hotel didn’t care, and now it feels like Booking.com doesn’t care either. I should not have been charged for a stay I couldn’t safely or comfortably complete. This place was completely unacceptable, and the way this situation has been handled is beyond frustrating.

Not too expensive, pet friendly.

Pets are an extra charge of $15, which I kind of expected. What I did not expect was that the hotel wanted to charge me an extra $8 "service fee" that I do not believe was revealed in their description. I showed him I already paid the "Total amount" listed on my receipt, but he continued to insist. Only when I continued to refuse to pay a dishonest, undisclosed charge did he finally relent. I could not recommend this place. The interaction made me very uncomfortable and cast a negative energy over my stay, depriving me of full enjoyment of my stay.
