Residence Inn by Marriott Roanoke Airport

This was pretty much a standard Residence Inn. The suite was of a decent size with comfortable furniture an beds. The staff was friendly and helpful for the little help we needed. The breakfast was good, with some variety of selection on different mornings. Overall our expectations were met.

I am giving this hotel five stars even though the TV in the bedroom didn't work and that wasn't great. I was all settled in and didn't want to get dressed and have someone come in to try and fix it. Other than that, the hotel is great. The room was really nice, clean and well laid out. Even had a fireplace. I would definitely go back.

Room was adequate in size and concierge was fine at check in. However in room my wife found insect on the bed. Terrible. Also requested a slip mat for tub shower. Was told by desk hotel does not off. Comment was use a towel. I said virtually all hotel tub showers either have or have on request. Comment back was she worked in many hotels and most do not offer. I am lifetime elite Marriott member and always had them at least on request. Cancelled on return leg staying in nearby Courtyard

Very close to Valley View mall with great places with nice pool and hot tub.

Every single staff member was beyond wonderful. My girlfriend and I stayed for a week to celebrate our two year anniversary, and every day the front desk staff were so kind, helpful, and just plain fun to talk to. The cleaning staff were so kind as well. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Plus it’s just 5 minutes away from valley view mall and lots of shopping!
