Aria Lito Mansion

Helpful reception. Had great recommendations for sights and restaurants. Convenient location and nice ambience. Breakfast was simple fare.

The hotel is VERY centrally located in Thera, so you can easily explore the whole town from there. It is probably one of the biggest hotel properties in town, with a very large outdoor patio/terrace, and is quite peaceful a midst the very crowded, small shopping/tourist streets. The staff are super friendly. The pool is not warmed, so keep this in mind depending on the time of year you travel. There is also no caldera view, since the patio is on the east and south sides of the building. Although a long ways away, you can actually see the water on the east side of the island, but don’t choose this hotel for the view, choose it for the peace and quiet, and privacy, in a crowded area. Finally, although there is ‘free parking’ is actually a free public parking lot about 250 meters up the street from the property.

The good: Great location in the north end of downtown Fira. The back entrance is right next to the shops and restaurants. This is and old mansion, but very well maintained and clean. Nice swimming pool and patio areas. The staff is friendly and attentive. The not so good: The breakfast could have a little more variety. Mixed fruit seem to be out of a can, not fresh. We selected this place because they promoted having cribs, but did not have one for us. We. Had to improvise a sleeping area with a small bed and some chairs on the side. The building has very high ceilings, so people talking on the hallway or every small noise is heard everywhere. Nearby church bell is very loud, so the location is not the best for sleeping in the afternoon until midnight.

Perfectly situated in the shopping alleyways, easy access to the hiking steps and cable car to /from the old port of Fira, this property was a hidden oasis! Starting your day with breakfast in the courtyard was amazing. It’s so tranquil and peaceful, as you enter the property from all the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly and the property was well maintained, Stacy (manager) was amazing! She provided us with recommendations and things to do. I would highly recommend this property!

Nice hotel and nice facility but I got confused regarding the fees for the airport shuttle. The charges me 40 before I left thinking it was for the ride to the airport but when I arrived at the airport to leave the driver charged me 25. They could have made this clearer

The property exterior is beautiful and unlike many hotels in Fira, it is easy to access. We stayed in room H5 on the lower floor and it featured stunning vaulted ceilings and a spacious sitting area. Unfortunately I found the bed rather hard and uncomfortable. Stacy at the front desk was lovely, as were all the staff. I enjoyed my bathtub and nice Korres bath products. The small swimming pool was refreshing on a hot day. Breakfast was included in the stay and was quite simple with the same offerings the next day. Better quality coffee would have been appreciated. But with all the wonderful food in Greece this was not a big issue for us. We enjoyed the location very much.

In the heart of Fira.....All staff were very friendly.....breakfast provided was wonderful.....pool area was beautiful and nicely layed out...walking distance to everything......elevator for luggage!!!!

The mansion is amazing with very elegant and comfy ambiance. Impressive tall headroom and large windows facing private garden. The experience of having morning breakfasts inside a cozy garden hidden from the neighbouring tourist area is truly unique. The staff members are friendly especially Stacey who is always so helpful with a big smile. The only regret of my stay was the water suspension right on arrival. The staff did help to offer us two large bottles of water for temporary relief!
