Hotel Campanile Dijon Centre - Gare

We were looking to stop over somewhere for 1 night, on our way to the alps ski-ing. Dijon was our approximate halfway point so seemed like a good idea. We were 3 males trying to share a single room, with single beds to save money, and found it quite hard to find a hotel to accommodate us. Then we came across this little gem of a hotel. The hotel is right in the centre of the city, right near the train station (Gare de Dijon Ville). Also you can park in the train station car park. Then the hotel will give you a substantial discount on the parking ticket. The Hotel staff were great offering any advice we needed with ease, at all times being polite and courteous. The room itself was just what we needed, 3 single beds, a TV, brew making facilities, bathroom, good shower, on the wall shower gel/shampoo, towels. The only downfall i could say is we were at the front of the hotel and there is a tram stop right outside, and they do a little *ding* noise. It wasn't a problem for us, but could see how it could be for someone, with this in mind you could request a room not facing the tram. To sum up, the hotel was perfectly priced for what you receive. Would i stop again, yes most certainly.

Nice comfortable rooms. Cheap Overnight parking but not too close since the advent of the trams. Second stay at this hotel. on our numerous visits to Dijon.

Near the centre, 5 mins walk, car is parked over in train station multi storey, secure!!! Good location to see Dijon, rooms are a little dated, basic bathrooms but all functional.

Close to the train station, parking available nearby, and within walking distance of all the major must-see sights. Hotel service was rude when we first walked in which is why I gave a lower rating. Rooms were clean and comfortable, typical European room, compact and no fringe.

This hotel is right near the train station. They were happy to store our luggage since we arrived in the morning, and then they got us checked in early in the afternoon. The room was small but clean and efficient. We were traveling to Dijon on pleasure, spent the day checking out the Owl Trail and all of the amazing architecture. I would return to this hotel next time I am in Dijon.

Across the street from the train station. Quiet rooms. Close to many sites and numerous restaurants and shopping. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Situated in a very convenience location, right in front of the train station. Nice and clean room, and good breakfast at the price of €10.

Make sure you ask for a room overlooking the courtyard, not the railway station and tramline square. The room was very stuffy, even with air conditioning low, but open the window and in comes the noise of trains, trams and cars. Also the most expensive of all the budget level hotels we stay in across Europe, at £67.80 per room, and another £9.90 for a moderate breakfast. Only single occupation, but still had to pay £10 extra per night for two clean dogs. However, lovely receptionist went to 'caress' them when we went out for the evening.

Extremely helpful staff. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Central location.
