The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas

The setting is beautiful with the Koi ponds around the gardens and the pools are beautiful. The direct access to the beach is ideal. One morning I awoke early and didn’t want to wake up my husband by making coffee in my room. I headed down to the lobby to read hoping to get a coffee there. The coffee shop didn’t open until 6am but Mark a helpful associate from the Bell stand made me an early morning coffee. He went out of his way to account 4:45am request. True hospitality - the Aloha spirit that Maui is known for. The fire pit and hot tubs at night and in the morning run on the beach- it was ideal. The units had lots of space. It was so convenient to have a washer and dryer.

rude staff, not impressed by this hotel. Never once hear any staff say hello to us. At checkin they failed big time to give us directions such as pool hours, restaurants location and hours. Towel check-in check-out process, etc. They failed making us feel welcome to our stay. As a Marriott Elite member, which Marriott owns Westin, I was never recognized as a member. Even with the Marriott Bovoy sign at the front desk, they basically refuse to recognize the owner of westin. There other better Maui options, which I will use next time.

Everything was perfect. Great job by all the staff.

Great room, great view. Easy parking and a free shuttle to local stops for shopping etc. we had a great time here snorkeling on the beach was amazing at this location.

Great location, lots of amenitie

I’ll start by saying I participated in a sales presentation, so I had a really good room rate. That said, I would never pay full price for this resort. The resort is located on one of the most beautiful beaches, so they have that going for them. The location is spot on. However, everything else is just average. The rooms were clean, but need some updating. We were in a studio. I liked building 6. But the ice maker was loud and right by the bed. The staff was friendly, but sparse. We once walked into the lobby and waited 10 minutes for a single staff member to get us a towel. Seemed a little understaffed, because any time we did see someone, they were super helpful. The pools seemed to only have one person you could order drinks from, which was a long wait. The restaurants are very basic, while the nearby resorts have higher quality food with beach views. Parking lot was a nightmare. Nearly all the spots are compact and they let so many people park over lines and then there weren’t enough spots. So worth what I paid for it, but maybe not top option if you’re paying full price. I’m still a big fan of Marriott and Westin properties, just sharing my honest feedback.

L’unica camera disponibile era al primo piano nella parte posteriore del resort da cui praticamente non si vedeva che uno scorcio piccolo e lontano di mare lateralmente e davanti si aveva tutto il resort vicino alto 7 piani . Ci hanno detto che anche se abbiamo prenotato e pagato la struttura tre mesi prima non avremmo mai avuto modo di avere un buon appartamento ai piani alti e vista mare perché sono prenotati di anno in anno dai proprietari trattandosi di multi proprietà. Quindi una truffa

Good location with access to beach and walking path. One bedroom with kitchen was good size with large patio. Bathroom good size with large tub. Overall, average room and furnishings.

I'm extremely disappointed in how Westin Ka anapali Ocean Resort Villas handled the damage to my brand new vehicle while under their valet's care. On the day of checkout, I found my car parked in a "Taxi Only" stall-not a valet area. Before I even got in, I noticed a fresh dent and scrape, with powder paint still around the damage, clearly showing it was recent. l immediately reported it. Security (David "Kawika" Vallejo) took my statement. Two managers, Justin Paki and Justin Pagaduan, arrived but offered no apology, no concern, and no help. I later contacted GM Chris Rabang, who simply forwarded my email to their safety director. After the incident, I was forced to take my family including my 8-year-old daughter to the police station to file a report, then spend days gathering photos, timestamps, names, and even mentioned there was a security camera aimed directly at my vehicle. To make matters worse, the hotel misreported the incident to their insurance initially as if it happened under self-parking. Despite all this, their insurance denied the claim, relying on the valet's word over the obvious facts. It's clear the staff were more interested in protecting each other than doing what was right. The lack of accountability, empathy, and integrity from Westin staff was shocking and deeply upsetting. For a resort that markets itself as premium, this experience was anything but. I would not trust this property with your vehicle or your peace of mind.

Nice resort, lots of kids and families. Some said to go after school starts, it not as crowded and very few children. That being said we did have our grand children with us and they had a ball!! Beach was close with some of the best snorkeling just 10 yards out! Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles and lots of colorful fish. Overall we were very pleased with everything.👍❤️
