Fairfield Inn & Suites Toledo North

Very dated rooms, needs upgrade! Carpet old and dingy, shower worked well but the wall it was on was movable, wallpaper peeling in bathroom around shower. Front staff was pleasant and recommended restaurants etc.

I was staying here for personal reasons—not very impressed given this being a Marriott property. I understand this is a low-end Marriott, especially it being a Fairfield Inn—but I expect it to be a little nicer and a little bit more modern than this. The lobby was nice, the breakfast was decent, and the staff were exceptional—but something was lacking. I mean—I guess this property is just old. They tried renovating the rooms—aka putting up this ugly blue wallpaper and adding in new carpet, but it clashes with the sand-colored furniture and old lamps from the 1990s. Marriott tried combining furniture from 1996 with accents from 2019, and it just doesn’t work. Given the room was lacking, I was forced to take away 2 points. Also, the location wasn’t great—placed next to big plots of land with warehouses and what not, but I guess it has convenient access to the nearby interstate. What I’m trying to say is that this hotel seeks a specific audience—people who stay at the hotel to sleep. People who aren’t minded by how dated this hotel is. I am biased though because I care about this stuff unfortunately. I also can’t speak for the facilities as I didn’t use them—the WiFi was okay though. It did the job. All I will tell you is don’t be set off from this hotel by my review. It was still a great property looking past the design choices!

Have stayed at many Fairfield Inn properties and this particular one is pretty much the norm for the Marriott chain. The room and breakfast was exactly as expected. Plenty of parking. Usual bathroom amenities. No WOW factor in any way that would stand out. I would stay again if in that area.

I have stayed at Marriotts for years and have loved them until I stayed here. Upon check in felt like we were inconveniencing the lady at front desk. After a long day of driving we went to pool to relax and could not use pool. 3 young children in there alone yelling top of their lungs and running around doing cannon balls in pool. Tried hot tub but kept getting splashed by them and the loudness was out of control. Spoke to front desk and was told nothing they would do. Another group of kids came in and they were all yelling songs or something in pool at top of their lungs, needless to say we had to leave. I mentioned the sign about pool rules at front desk we could hear everything coming from pool and they would do nothing. Our room was on 3rd floor and we could her the kids screaming from up there. I am gold member at hotel but was offered nothing upon check in and had to ask. Hotel front clerks were very rude entire time. I will not be staying there again.

This Company STOLE $250 from me,for airing out my room after checkout. Stating that the Legal Cannabis I had in my room, which was never smoked caused an odor and used this excuse to steal.Do not go there or they will rob you and everyone that is with you as well. This is not acceptable behavior and will not be ignored.

Was clean, well-kept, and reasonably priced. Small indoor pool (mostly for kids) plus hot tub. Decent free breakfast. Ask for a room on the front side, as there’s a truck terminal behind, operating 0630-0030 7days a week, complete with signal toots. Also, each room has smoke detectors with TWO green LEDs flashing each second all night long. WiFi had 9ms ping, 9.5-10 Mbps download, 15-16 up. Pillows were marshmallows, and when I requested firmer one, got two more of the same.
