Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chesapeake Suffolk

It’s nothing fancy however the stay was great! The staff are helpful and friendly; breakfast was very good and the room was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

There were no wash clothes for us to use one of the night - was told they were not cleaned.. Very disappointing.we have stayed here several times and this was the first time we were told this.

That we was able to do everything we needed

They don’t answer the phone and still have not refunded me my money back for incident yet

When we got to our room we realized the ac was rattling like a jet we tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work. Thete was mold in the bath tub and on the wall in the bathroom. My husband who is 77 with many health issues went down to the front desk The clerk was not receptive to changing the room at first then did. The new room had a working ac but the remote for the TV was dead. The bathroom especially around the tub needs regrouping this one was black. We are Bonvoy members but not happy at all. Hilton does it better.

The beds were comfortable.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott, you were supposed to be our peaceful landing pad after a 12.5 hour drive from Indiana. Instead; - Pool: Closed for maintenance. The one thing I was actually looking forward to. Did I mention it was 100 degrees (37.7 celcius). Did you let me know the pool was closed ahead of arrival....no. - Room 213: AC sounded like a helicopter crash-landing. New room 216 - WiFi: Wouldn't load the login page on Samsung phones. Staff told us it was our problem and gave us a help desk number to call. Absolutely not. I'm too tired to troubleshoot like it's 2004. 📞🚫. Every other restaurant and hotel on our 12 day 10 states cross country trip worked with no issue, pop ups etc... hotel staff please keep telling me it's my phone not working even though I work in IT and know it's not my phone. Fix your system. - I wanted to wind down with a shower but it too had issues with moldy corners, and a suspicious slimy residue that looked like it came straight out of a horror movie. - Later, tried to do laundry. The machine room has a sign that I needed to ask the front desk, and the front desk had no idea how many coins the machines needed or where to get soap. Like… how?! It’s literally your hotel! Would've asked for my money back, or stayed at a different hotel, but I didn’t have the energy for battle.

Kids loved the indoor pool area, i enjoyed having a desk in the room to answer emails and get work done. Beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast was different i liked the many options that were offered!

Issues with the bathroom light switch. The main light switch in the room had to be the opposite of the bathroom light switch in order for it to be on. The bed was so so. The room was very clean. The bathroom was all clean. The front desk person was very attentive, polite and helpful.

The breakfast. I called the lady Ms. Quiche. She was killing breakfast. Thats it

They dont answer the phones at all. And they need to clean and fix the pool.
