Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chesapeake Suffolk

All of the Handicap rooms were as far from the elevators as possible, requiring, for us, very long walks. The first room we were assigned did not have a flushable commode, so we had to move to another floor. The second room had a broken shower, which constantly leaked during our entire four-day stay. The Coffee maker also had a missing part and had to be replaced. We had reserved a room with a "Roll-In Shower," but none were available at check-in; only high-sided tubs were offered. We were locked out of our room twice and had to obtain new keys. For two handicapped customers, this was a huge problem. The AC worked well and the room was clean.

Property was conventional to every thing clean and comfortable environment

This property does not live up to the Marriott standard. Everything was broke. The phone, the fridge, the pool is a huge safety hazard and very cold. It is not ADA compliant completely. The chair for those with handicaps is broke. There is only 1 elevator so if it is down for maintenance people need to use the stairs. I won’t ever stay there again for the price we paid.

The room had a broken window, looked like a rock had been thrown through it. Bathroom had mold in the tub shower. The shower curtain was ripped on both sides, so barely kept the water off the floor. There was no bathmat had to use a towel. When the final straw was there was ants. The lobby area has flooring issues as well. And all the breakfast was free it wasn’t very good and had a very small selection.

No había habitaciones listas a las 3:15 pm. No tenían disponible la que reservé y me querían cobrar extra por otra. Para tener la habitación por la que pagué tuve que esperar cerca de 1 hora en el lobby. Mi hija llegó después. Ella también reservó allí y le pasó exactamente lo mismo. La tina de baño tenía como oxido y tanto en mi habitación como la habitación de mi hija tenían completamente vacíos los frascos de acondicionador de cabello, el desayuno no estaba bueno tampoco. Con tanta oferta de hotel en esa área no creo que vuelva a reservar allí.

The staff were amazing. Friendly, made you feel like you were one of their own family.

I had to get my towels daily, The dresser drawer won't stay shut, the shower curtain was all broken and had to be replaced before showering. Had to retrieve my own toilet paper. So basically housekeeping.

Bed was comfortable

Tried to charge me more then what it should’ve been.

The room was clean and spacious. Also, the clerk at the front desk was articulate and polite.
