Location, location.... easy and pretty walk to cathedral area. Nice river view

There are stairs to most rooms so just fyi if you have any issues. No lifts

"Altmodischer Charme in toller ländlicher Umgebung!"

Wunderschöne altmodische Einrichtung und fantastische Aussicht auf Flüsschen und die Kathedrale.Extrapunkt für die Terrasse mit freiem Zugang zum Bach.

Nur,aber das ist eigentlich wirklich wichtig,dass das Bett sehr durchgelegen war und ich deshalb mit üblen Kopfschmerzen am nächsten Morgen zu kämpfen hatte bzw in der 1.Nacht stundenlang nicht einschlafen konnte.

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig, um Salisbury zu erkunden; nur wenige Gehminuten Fußweg bis zur Kathedrale. Empfehlenswert sind die Zimmer nach hinten heraus mit Blick auf das grüne Flusstal und die Kathedrale. Hier stört auch der Verkehr von der stark befahrenen Harnham Road nicht.

Für ein 4*-Hotel ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen, diverse Zimmer zudem nur über Treppen und Stufen erreichbar. Das Restaurant ist eher bescheiden, das Personal nicht immer sehr motiviert. Wochenenden sollte man vielleicht besser meiden, da dann gerne Hochzeiten stattfinden, die mit großem Andrang und Musik und Tanz bis in die Nacht verbunden sind.

"Fantastic stay at the Legacy Rose and Crown."

We’ve been here lots of times as it’s such a lovely hotel. The executive rooms that we stay in are very nice with lots of perks. The position of the hotel by the river and the closeness of it to the city are all big plusses. Great to walk into Salisbury centre for an evening meal and also the Sat market. The staff go over and above to be helpful, including a member of staff who heard my husband mention that he forgot to get some marmalade for his breakfast and this person immediately went to get him some. Very helpful.

"Room with a view"

The breakfast and the parking. The room had a nice view of Salisbury Cathedral, the wild life on the river, the view of the river in the dining room.

No fridge, ants in the bathroom, bathroom needs more hooks, long way to the room with stairs going both up and down.
