Absolutely beautiful hotel, surroundings, food drinks all perfect and the staff were all so lovely and extremely helpful. We really couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay and we will be back.

"Nice but disappointing "

Beautiful setting. Very comfortable bed and room. Food very expensive. £24 for burger & fries. Excellent breakfast but the dining room was chaotic overcrowded and unpleasant. Front desk and valet parking service was excellent

"Lovely hotel but stay impacted by room problem"

Hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas and the food and drink in the Bar and Glasshouse were excellent. I could see the grounds and activities would be great in spring or summer. We had a problem with our TV and lock in the room and although they very quickly sent an engineer, and then further support people, we had expected it to just be something like new batteries in the remote but turned into people in the room with us for approx an hour total so we couldn't relax and delayed getting ready for the evening meal. As we were only here for one night it impacted being able to leave the room for the spa etc. The poor guy was busy and covering on his own but perhaps if he had said what it would have taken to fix (time/disruption) we would have just said leave it. Shame we felt we didn't fully experience the facilities then.

What an absolutely lovely place to stay . Food so tasty , room just idyllic (recommend junior suite) staff so attentive and happy . Stay made better with festivities for Xmas .

Overall nice trip. Stayed at the hotel many times. However this time cold tap broke on the bath and tv controller did not work. When spending £600 per night on a room you don’t expect this to happen. Both rectified relatively quickly but when staying only one night you don’t want it to take up any of the time you have. One round of drinks taken of the bill …..so ok compensation.

Not only is the level of service at the highest level, but the food on offer at the glasshouse Restaurant is totally off the scale five stars in every department
