Inn on the Riverwalk

This is a wonderful hotel, and I gave it the highest recommendation.

The Inn on the Riverwalk is my home away from home! The staff, especially Margaret, goes above and beyond to make guests feel like they’re staying with family. And the location couldn’t be better…It’s central to everything downtown! Plus, they have their own access to the riverwalk, so it’s a runner/walker’s dream!

We stayed in The Conception Room. Beds and pillows were very soft ,room was clean, very quite. People were easy to work with and very nice. It is close enough to walk where ever we wanted to go. Will definitely stay here again. Great that we park our car in their parking lot before check in and go walk around.

Breakfast was fresh and yummy. Balcony was peaceful and private. Whirlpool tub very relaxing after a long day. Owner introduced himself and chatted for a bit.

Was a little noisy in kitchen while breakfast was being prepared. You'll awaken unless you're a sound sleeper.

Amazing location, thoughtful service! I moved locations after my first hotel choice was not feeling safe or clean. The Inn on the Riverwalk was outstanding in every way. Fresh breakfast in the morning, coffee available all day, engaging hosts. The location could not have been better, love the old school charm of the house, especially the balcony for some relaxing work time! I will be back!

It’s a beautiful old property, right in the middle of everything on the Riverwalk. Margaret’s breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed two nights. For those who love to run, walk, or bike — the Riverwalk is an enjoyable place to exercise. It was also very nice to speak with Roland and Margaret as we ate breakfast and enjoyed coffee. Good people!

Location, location, location!! The Inn on the Riverwalk overlooks the Riverwalk on the end of the Riverwalk, a short 10-15 walk to the heart of the action downtown. The Inn is VERY clean and the rooms comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful with nice dining area, and lovely patio with shade overlooking the river. The staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. Loved our time here!

Our stay at the Inn on the Riverwalk was exactly the relaxing getaway my wife and I needed. From the moment we walked into our room, we felt an immediate sense of comfort and tranquility. The room was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly soft, making it the perfect place to shut out the world and unwind. We set the room to our ideal temperature—cold and cozy—and slept like babies, truly the best rest we've had in a long time. The breakfast each morning was a delightful start to our day, with every bite feeling like a special treat. This was hands down the best quick getaway we've had in a long time, and we will definitely be returning soon! Highly recommended!
