Inn on the Riverwalk

Quaint, quiet and right on the Riverwalk!

Our room was on the second floor- no elevator- a bit of a struggle 🤪

Location to the riverwalk was excellent. Breakfast was very good, room was clean, and the A/C kept the room very cool. Will be staying there again!

This charming B&B is in a nice location right on the Riverwalk. The main house and adjacent guest house offer a variety of rooms. Our Alamo suite was spacious and comfortable. Outdoor seating on the porch was relaxing and there is a short walk to most of the riverside venues. Margaret welcomed us and made a delicious breakfast the next morning. We got to meet the owner Roland at breakfast and had a very nice conversation with him. I recommend this location for those wanting a relaxed and accommodating stay. Free offstreet parking was a bonus.

The hospitality at this bed and breakfast was outstanding. We were in communication with the staff during our stay and they made everything go smoothly. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The inn is a 10-15 minute walk to the main part of the riverwalk, Alamo, and shopping. We did very little driving during our trip there. We felt safe walking around the inn during both day and night. The breakfast was good and filling. The kitchen access during all hours was great, so we could heat up some leftovers from our dinner outings. The view from our room was lush and we could see the quiet walking trail portion of the riverwalk. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a conveniently located, peaceful, local place to stay in San Antonio!

We like the quiet that the place offered and the view of the San Ant River. The staff was especially friendly and very welcoming to us when we first arrived and throughout our stay. The breakfast each day was delicious. We walked along the river and even had lunch at the Texas River Bar, which was absolutely delicious. We're planning on coming back in October.

We had an issue with Door Dash attempting to deliver food to the Inn on the Riverwalk. We ended up having to go pick up the food.

We really loved our stay here. It is located on a dead-end street right on the Riverwalk but on a QUIET part of it, not the craziness in the center. It was easy to walk TO the craziness, but such a delight to come back at night to serenity. The mourning doves cooing in the morning were so sweet. The owners are fantastic! We didn't eat breakfast, but it smelled divine. We stayed in the Riverwalk Suite which was great. The bathroom is small and the shower a bit tight, but everything was clean and well kept. We'd absolutely stay here again. It's an older home which brought us back to a time long gone. It was really such a delight, as were Margaret and Vanessa.

It's a B&B… convenient but a B&B.

Wonderful B&B w/ an incredible location. Had coffee, nice and quiet, outside of my room on in the 2nd floor in the AM overlooking the river and then ate a delicious, different breakfast each day on the larger patio below, also overlooking the Riverwalk. Arrived late (plane delayed due to weather) but easy, safe check-in after midnight. Directions were clear from the owners prior to arrival. Nothing to add; excellent overall!!

Wonderful location. Charming rooms. Excellent customer service! Would recommend for those seeking a more personal stay in San Antonio! Walking from town at night even felt safe although it was not well lit. Breakfast was fast and hearty!
