Inn on the Riverwalk

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Inn on the Riverwalk. The San Jose Suite located across the street from the Inn offered a king bed , vintage accent furniture pieces and a fireplace. The charming Inn is located on a quiet cull -de-sac of the riverwalk and easily within walking distance of downtown riverwalk activities and King William Historic District. The quiet riverwalk path is perfect for jogging or walking. During our visit the staff, especially Margaret, was accommodating and attentive to our needs. Her pleasant personality made us feel welcome upon arrival and throughout our visit. Her email and text messages provided necessary arrival information and activity suggestions to familiarize us with the area. Daily breakfast was delicious and accommodated to meet dietary needs. We also enjoyed chatting with Roland, the owner, each morning during breakfast. We look forward to a return visit next time we visit San Antonio.

Petit déjeuner fait maison, personnel au petit soin et attentif, chambres confortables sur le riverwalk de San Antonio, à 5 minutes à pied du centre ville le long des berges... Et à 10-15min du Frost Bank Center en voiture pour les matchs de Basket des Spurs ! Le meilleur des compromis sur place à mon avis pour un beau séjour à San Antonio...

Took a trip on a whim that led me here to the Inn on the Riverwalk. I had a wonderful stay — the service was phenomenal, and breakfast was served every morning 😋. Margaret and Vanessa checked in each day to see if I needed anything. The Inn is within walking distance of the River Walk’s main attractions — food, music, and bars — yet far enough away from the noise to enjoy peaceful nights sitting on the steps that lead down to the river. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next spontaneous trip to San Antonio. Thank you, Margaret and Vanessa!

We had a fabulous staycation for our anniversary. Everything was great. The room, the whirlpool tub in our room. The beautiful porch over looking the river was great day and night. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made for us. We will definitely do this again next year. This was on our bucket list. Check.

The location was great! Very peaceful considering how close to downtown. Margaret was AWESOME! She made certain my girlfriend had a GF breakfast both days.

An excellent bed, room, and breakfast. We encountered no problems during our stay. We hope to stay here again sometime soon.

Great stay!!

What a cute and quaint place. We were traveling across country so we didn’t get to stay and enjoy it like we would have wanted. The room was comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded us to a larger room, recognizing our need. We definitely want to stay here again.

The home was clean and quiet. Further from the business/tourist section than i realized, but thats on me. Lovely stay.

The Inn on the Riverwalk was the perfect, intimate venue for my sister’s wedding. The ceremony was held outdoors in a beautiful, quiet, shaded area just off the Riverwalk, surrounded by trees. A huge thank you to Margaret, who was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions and even assisting with directing the event. We are so happy we picked this place.
