Royal Islander Hotel

nice pool area & walking distance to restaurants.

Royal Islander kind of 3 star hotel. Rooms nice comfortable with aircon but very basic. There was no running hot water. Courtyard is spacious with pool and seating. Wifi is quite good. Has restaurant and food was good. Staff is nice and friendly. Not much in the neighbourhood. Small mall and fast food within walking distance. Nice for short stay but don’t expect too much.

Great place to stay while in Freeport Bahamas.

The peaceful environment 24 hours security my dislikes the television service was very poor only had access to local channels and the bathroom fixtures were broken

One of the rooms had a smell but the conditions was understandable. So it was switch to my prefection.

We visited the Royal Islander to do hurricane relief. The rooms are OK for sleeping and the pool was nice and the water was warm enough. The food in the restaurant was much better than I thought it would be. The people that work there are very nice. This is not located next to a beach and the internet service was scetchy at best.

This stay I requested a King room in message to staff which was graciously matched the view of pool right outside your room with bar stool and lounge area located in great spot to great food within walking distance be back real soon

It has a very good location to most of all things to do in Freeport close to relatives close to Port

Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfy and clean.

For starters if you are from the U.S this place resembles a motel 6. Cleaning crew doesn’t carry clean sheets in their cart. Only the towels and the cleaning liquid. We arrived from an all inclusive resort so it was a horrible experience. They do the rooms and then finish it and call it a day. When we checked in we had two rooms. One of the rooms they gave us had people stuff already. Bad organization. The next room had hair on the sheets toilet not clean because it was black. Two towels for a room that fits 4 people and one wash cloth. Tub was yellow meaning no bleach is used. One room had a blue thin sheet and the other beds didn’t have it. Price for this room was way too much. I do Airbnb in orlando and my Apts offer more for almost the same price Charging late check out but in Airbnb there’s no fee. Restaurant is super expensive best bet is walking to pollo tropical or bk to eat. overall no clean sheets and poor quantity of towels. Rooms smelled of mold and cigars left the doors open and fan running all the time so the smell can go away.
