Royal Islander Hotel

Check in process was horrible...Front Desk staff moved with no urgency or concern for guest. We tried to check in at 3pm but they were changing shifts at the desk, therefore we had to wait an additional hour for them to count float and do whatever...Not professional at all...

The location of the property was good for what I wanted but rooms were just ok Nothing to want me to say hey I’m going back to the hotel three out of five nights I only got one washcloth and it was two occupants

Nice place. It felt safe. Considering a cat 5 hurricane had been there it was in good shape.

The security is very nice they treated me like a princess

It is 2 stars hotel. Food in restaurant cooked poor. Room was so so, a bit dirty. During night time black peoples did not get asleep. Very noise rooms. No water in rooms. I do not recommend this hotel.

Had few nights spent there, and the overall review is bad. At first, when entered the room, the strong smell of mold kicked me back outside. The room was not ventilated at all, the ambient temperature inside was equal or higher than the one outside! The aicon, fitted on the lower window was extremely noisy. The restaurantt is working for breakfast and dinner. For lunch-there is subcontractor. Another issue was that my room was entered by the personnel, despite that "do not disturb" was hanged on the door outside. And the last, major repair floor works on the terace, next to my room have been initiated, witout notification. Based on the above, I can't rate the mentioned hotel with more than one star.

I like it but it needs to upgrade a little. The staff are awesome and super friendly

I liked the location of the property that it was close to downtown and that a refrigerator and microwave was in the room. The staff was very friendly. Did not like that we were initially placed in a room that had neither and a old musky odor. no peep chains on the doors as an added measure of safety. The price wasn't" so bad either.

This was the worse, the check in was incorrect I got a double bed but was put in a 1 bed, had to take my stuff from upstairs to downstairs. No wifi in the room have to walk to the lobby to catch service, the water in the shower and toilet is stink, the room was clean to be honest, the jacuzzi wasn’t working, the ac must’ve been broken cause it was hot, the lady checked us out and didn’t alert us, I had to show her my reservation to show her we check out on the 21 and not the 20th She didn’t apologize for the embarrassment or anything Like just horrible will never visit here again

Hotel okay but more like a motel with all room doors to outside. i did not spend much time there luckily. Booked king room and got 2nd floor double queen. No working safe in room, ac and wifi didnt work well.Had to carry luggage up steps. I don't recommend the restaurant and location not great for other food options other than two very close burger kings....would stay elsewhere next time as place was not as described on the online booking website and pictures for sure...
