De Vere Cotswold Water Park

Absolutely amazing, family-friendly place – honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I’ve already recommended it to so many friends and family. The ambience was beautiful Food was incredible, and I completely fell in love with the afternoon tea Customer service was fantastic Cleanliness was spot on throughout I genuinely can’t get over how lovely this place is. The spa was a little on the expensive side, but overall the experience was still really good and worth it.

We spent New Year’s Eve here with our family and loved everything. The hotel is beautiful, the view is stunning, the food was great, the bed very comfortable, the entertainment was excellent for the kids, and it is extremely pet-friendly. We truly had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

Had a Spa treatment day today which I had been looking forward to and I must say overall it was quite disappointing. My main requirement for a spa day is for it to be 100% relaxing and overall I didn't find really find that. The massage was great but there were lots of minor irritations that made for a poor customer experience overall

Awful. I asked for a quiet room. The hotel was full of work Christmas party’s our room was not quiet. Me and grand daughter had no sleep. Manager not that helpful in our situation either.

Check-in: A lovely smiley welcome by the receptionist (sadly i cant remember their name) , who also enquired about my journey which was kind. I was early so my room wasnt quite ready, but i was informed immediately when it was. I asked for a quiet room if possible and this was kindly provided. Room: My room was beautiful, it had a side view of the lake, huge floor to ceiling windows, nicely decorated and had a large desk, next to the bed was a comfortable and large chair to relax in. The kingsize bed was very comfortable, one of the best I’ve stayed on as they’re usually too hard for me. Bathroom: A spotless, good size bathroom with a bath and shower over. Plenty of hot water and good size mirror. Plenty of towels of varying sizes which is a real bonus; couldn’t fault it. Breakfast: Such a delicious breakfast, huge array of choice from pastries, fresh chopped fruits, wade rage of breads, to cooked foods for a full English I noted that the quality of the sausages and bacon were a high standard, which was a nice surprise. Coffee was freshly ground as it was made, and you could really tell, I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee! Tables were nicely laid out and the waiter was quick to clear to keep the place looking lovely. The breakfast room has a stunning view of the lake which makes for a very relaxing breakfast. Conclusion: I’m well travelled and have started at more hotels than I can remember. So I think I have high expectations of where I stay. The De Vere is truly a lovely place to unwind , be comfortable and whilst feeling like you’re being well looked after. I found the staff kind, courteous and helpful, I’m surprised that some people say the opposite? I will definitely be starting here when I return to the Cotswolds in February, and I’ll certainly be looking forward to it. Thank you to all the staff, you’re a credit to the hotel.

My honeymoon was 100% RUINED Rude staff Dirty rooms Noisy guests Cold and OLD food, which they corrected and made right Treated appallingly by duty manager All in all I'd NEVER encourage anyone to waste their money by staying there!!! I want a refund!!

My daughter and I had Afternoon Tea at The Brasserie, De Vere Hotel, Cotswold Water Park which we had booked for 13.00, after we had used the Hotel Spa facilities in the morning. The Afternoon Tea was delicious and the food was perfect for us. We were given a lovely table by the window, overlooking the lake and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Honestly we couldn’t be any happier about our stay and any sadder to having to leave ! We spent 3 nights with our baby and the service here has been outstanding from check in to check out. Also exceptionally clean. Special shout out to the housekeeping team (Nello has been the sweetest with our baby!) and the reception team (thank you Chloe , sorry we didn’t catch the name of all other wonderful team members). We’ll def come back in a few months. Thank you thank you thank you!

Great rest, Nélio was a wonderful host! English breakfast and rooms were good. Food at the bar was also good. A very good stay.

On Arrival, we were welcomed, That's actually stretching the truth a little, as the young lady that checked us in was so robotic and cold we felt we had an AI controlled robot in front of us. However, after she sent us off to find our room, and after walking around a complicated maze of a site, a very pleasant member of the housekeeping team guided us to our door. After that, things picked up. The room was pleasen and a good size, although the shower with no bath was a disappointment. Dinner in the Boathouse was very good and the staff were excellent, Breakfast on both days was also very good. The biggest disappointment was the spar. In reality, it's too small for the size of the hotel and fills up very quickly. It's more like a local swimming pool, full of children running around and does not provide the calming or relaxing environment of a real spa. Good for families, but not for adults looking for a calm weekend away. This is a shame, as this was a very special weekend for us.
