Courtyard by Marriott Atlantic City Beach Block

Our family stayed 4 days and 3 nights. We occupied 2 different rooms. I must say the location was good if you don't mind walking approximately 2 blocks to the beach. However, if you are traveling with elderly relatives or persons with walking difficulties you may want to make sure they have transportation to and from the beach. the hotel did not offer that service. The hotel offered onsite parking for $20 per day however, we found cheaper parking close to the beach. It would have been nice if the hotel could have offered a refunds or a reduction in price if you could show a receipt. We ended up paying $20 but also paid an additional $10 at a lot closer to the beach. The staff was very courtious, friendly and positive. Rooms were clean, however daily room service was not provided. It was on our last day during check out that the hotel offered select cleaning if requested. we ran out of towels, wash clothes, and no vaccuming even though we requested. You had to physically go to the desk to pick up items if you were in despirate need. as for vaccuming, they never showed. We were not informed about their cleaning service process at check-in. The A/C in room #1 was ok when it worked, but was very loud when the unit started, the toilet flushed extremely loud too! it scared me everytime. Also on day 2 the security cap on the key swipe fell off, the service desk said someone would take care of it and no one showed or took care of it. In room #2 the A/C completly shut down on day 2, no one came to fix it. As i was checking out, other guest had the same complaints regarding cleaning, a/c unitis not working and lack of follow thru As for onsite resturant, it never opened. No happy hour as advertised, no bar and no food and the ICE MACHINE was not working on multiple floors! - However the breakfast area was opened for limited breakfast items. And that's all i can say. Overall if you did not plan on relaxing in your room for long periods of time this hotel was ok. it was clean, but the little things began to add up and i don't think i will be staying there again. But i must say again the staff was very nice and tried their best to accommodate guest. Maybe there was not enough cleaning/maintance staff available on the days we stayed.

Check in says 4pm but my room was not ready until 5:30. I wasted time from my vacation planning around he hotel's time.

April à la réception etait tres gentille...

mais le reste du personnel était plutôt bête et non souriant. L'air climatisé faisait défaut dans la plupart des chambres donc on m'a prevenue une fois arrivée... je venais de faire 9h de route ! Heureusement, j'ai pu avoir une chambre climatisé. On m'a dit qu'on me crediterait 50$ US par nuit on qu'on me payait le stationnement puisque la télévision ne fonctionnait pas de meme que la cafetière dans la chambre. Ma carte d'ascenseur a ete désactivé deux fois... bref !! À mon retour j'ai constaté que la chambre m'avait coûtée plus cher que le prix de départ sur Booking .... ce devait me coûter 750$ canadien environ mais ca m'a coûté 850$ ... dont le stationnement ;) je n'ai rien consommé autre qu'un jus type smoothie.... je n'y retournerais pas.

Clean, friendly staff

AC was broken… Our room got up to 81 degrees. They knew there were AC issues prior to check-in and they waited until we showed up to let us know. No fan was provided after being told we would get one. One staff member told us we would receive a full refund, another told us she could only comp our parking… Terrible

Instalaciones, ubicacion pero el desayuno no esta incluido en el precio. Excelente atencion empleados. Nos gusto muchisimo.

desi camera a fost spatioasa, mobilierul a fost destul de vechi, aerul conditionat era cu probleme (am schimbat camera din acest motiv, dar nu s-a remediat problema) si un miros destul de pregnant in camera (amestec de vechi, neaerisit combinat cu parfum de camera)

Good location and rooms were nice and staff was very helpful

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable Would be perfect if breakfast was included or even a pool

Worst hotel experience I've ever encountered. Rude unprofessional front desk staff. Booked 3 rooms and they were not available till after 5:00 pm (1 hour after official check in time). The very nasty front desk staff member advised that the hotel allowed many late check outs from prior night and did not have enough staff to clean rooms. Dirty/moldy rooms (see photos)- 2 rooms were clearly not cleaned and 1 appeared to be under construction. Strong pungent moldy odor, the tv and refrigerators were missing, damaged ceiling tile, blue painters tape on wall/ceiling, dead bugs in shower, piece of cardboard glued to wall and scalding hot water that you could not regulate.
