Hotel Riu Santa Fe - All Inclusive

Second trip this year. This one felt a little more family attended and the surf was swimable. We found our room clean and totally functional. Regular bar stocking and room cleaning. I can always find something to eat, and enjoy the efforts of the kitchen. Love trying soups and rice dishes, nice seafood night, and tacos at the tiki every other day. Bed is comfy. I weirdly need weight so we asked for extra blankets and pillows and were accommodated right away. We have stayed at a few RIUs now and are impressed with the staff quality. We wanted to thank Mercedes for looking after all our room needs. A special thanks to Yan. Yan, can. She saved my vacation assisting me to replace necessary medication in the least stressful way possible, thanks. Meals were a delight with exceptional service from Brenda, Hoy, and Luna, although all staff were willing to help and even smile. We also wanted to thank Julian, Dessi, Jilberto, Edwardo, Guillermo and the rest of the pool area staff. The chicken roaster guy was great too. Funny taxi story. Asked the Nexus guy how much, approx, to Sand bar massage ( fantastic gem, just need to work on their booking system): $10.00. Taxi guy #1, 16.00, taxi guy #2 return $17.00 US. Unbelievable views for breakfast with humpbacks actual breaching in our view. Not fond of the cruise ships blocking the view, but I get it. Loved the trip to Lovers beach. We both did get abdominal illness for a day each, but witnessed lots of cleaning of hand rails and elevators. Had fun and will likely return. I really love the 7000 block. Thanks again.

Celebration of life for my cousin this was his first time in Cabo. Had to show him just how great of a resort Santa Fe is.

I loved everything. The place is big with lots of activates. they are clean, the stuff are polite. the food are abundant.

The Riu Sante Fe is located right on the beach within reasonable walking distance to the town. They have everything you need and offer excursions that you pay separately. The parties they put on are something else. A lot of fun to be had at a reasonable price.

My girlfriend and I recently visited Cabo San Lucas and stayed at RIU Sante Fe. We loved the property. Lots of different restaurants and an onsite club area that hosted several events during the week. The beach area was well kept and they had several infinity pool bars that were fun to hang out at. Really no complaints to be had. We would certainly stay here again.

I was loyal to RIU for many years choosing this resort was Huge mistake it has absolutely nothing to do with Riu that i been staying at for many years This is a low class hotel with no sanitary standards flys are everywhere on your food, birds are flying inside the restaurants eating from the baskets with bread Again i choose it because RIU was always good choice. We did upgrade for penthouse room in building 7 oceanview and Tried to go out almost every day to do different activities just to avoid the resort The grounds are horrible, absolutely no beach area and No security on the beach Tried to upgrade for palace but it was overbooked according to the management. If you didn't book yet stay away not worth the money.

All in all, our experience was very good. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Other than a couple nights of very rowdy, drunk people in our building it was a positive experience. The pools and facilities for children were very good. The food was good with a wide variety but unfortunately, in a lot of instances, cold, especially in Sakura.

Had a good time because that's my nature. I appreciate new places and new people and the facility was very nice and well kept. All that said there were things that I was disappointed in, We were assigned a 3rd floor room with no elevator and no concern for age or physical condition, didn't realize until we found the room that it was going to be two flights up and down every trip to the room, I feel like this could have been addressed at check in. Also because our visit included Christmas there were changes to the party schedule and the meals availability, was planning on attending the "White Party" but it was preempted for the holiday, also was planning on visiting the steak house that night only to find out that all the restaurants were buffet service that evening and my feeling was(as with most buffets) that the food was average although there was a wide variety of available items. Summary: I may visit another RIU property but not during a major holiday.

I enjoyed the RIU Santa Fe. It was me, my wife, and 2 kids that stayed there (14&18). We stayed in building 7. For the most part, the resort was very clean. We were disappointed after the first couple days regarding the food. The individual restaurants didn't serve you and were all buffet style for the most part. The only one that did serve you was the American and it was greatly understaffed. We just expected more from them actually serving you like other resorts in Mexico. Its nice to get a made fresh, hot meal after a couple days of buffet so that was disappointing. A couple times we had to ask for glasses or ice as they weren't full if you wanted to get a drink. Things on the buffet that were empty and nobody really filled stuff back up. Pools were nice and the bar tenders seemed very nice. Overall, not sure if I would come back, but a good experience.

Beautiful weather, good food at all restaurants. Staff very friendly. 2 night there were fights in our building during the night,, another night someone was trying to get into our room once we had to call security. Not sure if this happens regularly or the big parties with excessive drinking attribute to this.
