Hotel Riu Santa Fe - All Inclusive

I loved this resort!! The food was good but not great. But it is an all inclusive resort so what can you really expect. The drinks were good, activities were very fun, restaurants were good! The rooms I found were very clean and nice. A few things I didn’t love were how far some of the villas were. Villa 7, 8, 9 felt very far from everything else central, were close to the beach which was nice, but near the party pool. Overall, I would go again. I had a great time

The staff were excellent. The resort was clean. I did not have any issues whatsoever during my stay.

It’s the second time we have stayed at the RIU Santa Fe now. I’d say it’s a 3 star all inclusive, the foods not bad but not over the top amazing. There are lots of options for food though! Our only issue this recent stay was the smell of the sheets… although they were supposedly changed everyday they smelled quite strong of BO everyday.

We enjoyed the facilities, however the room wasn't the cleanliest. The food was horrific, we expected to have more authentic options.

Tv didn’t work the entire trip. Requested a fix, they sent someone right away but couldn’t resolve the issue. The next day they told us the issue was resolved via the app. It never was.

Really liked our stay here - something for everybody. Lots of college kids looking to party and have a good time but also some families and friends groups. A special shoutout to Teo - the waiter at the main buffet. He provided EXCELLENT service - cleared a table for us to sit down even during the evening rush, refilled our waters before they were empty, offering to get us a specific wine we preferred, etc. I’d highly suggest promoting Teo to teach all other wait staff true 5 star service! For dinner I highly recommend ordering the Tampico steak from the Mexican restaurant - it is better than the steakhouse steak! Melts in your mouth, A++! Would definitely come back to the Riu and Cabos - enjoy your stay!

Had a wonderful time, this resort definitely checked all the boxes. ✅ Great vacation for all ages, families, single, group etc there was nothing lacking and a superb atmosphere.

An amazing trip with friends. The staff was very polite and the resort was very safe. The Riu Pool parties and Discho 'Pacha' was amazing. Worth every penny.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at Riu Santa Fe Los Cabos from December 11–18 in a standard king room, and overall had a fantastic experience. Our room was in a great central location, directly across from the spa and gym, and within easy walking distance to all restaurants, pools, and the beach. Despite the resort being huge and at full capacity, it never felt overly crowded or overwhelming. No issues finding a lounger or table at lunch or dinner. The restaurants are first-come, first-served, which worked well. We recommend going early, putting your name on the list, grabbing a drink at the bar, and returning when your buzzer goes off. The sushi restaurant was our favorite 😍. The steakhouse was just okay, but the buffet never disappointed, especially for breakfast and dinner, with a wide variety of options for all tastes. Service was excellent and everything was kept very clean. Housekeeping was outstanding-our room was cleaned early every morning, the minibar was restocked daily, and any extra requests were delivered promptly after a quick call to the front desk. The Riu Parties were a big hit with great energy and a fun atmosphere. The gym was also a pleasant surprise, offering a free steam room and cold plunge pool, which isn’t well advertised but definitely worth checking out. The gym has all new equipment 😎 The pools were clean and well maintained, and there was never a shortage of beach towels, which could be exchanged daily. The beach is not swimmable due to strong currents, but you can still go in waist-deep to cool off—just be cautious ⚠️. The marina is about a 10-minute cab ride away. One ride cost around $10, though another charged $17 on the way back, so prices vary. We went deep-sea fishing, booking directly at the marina. One tip: make sure to see the actual boat you’ll be taken out on, not just photos, as we were disappointed with the boat quality. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. One downside was that some weekend guests were rude, smoking in the pools and dropping ashes, which took away from the experience at times. Overall, the resort is geared toward a younger crowd, but all ages are welcome and can enjoy themselves. A couple of swimup bars down by beach are 18+ We would highly recommend Riu Santa Fe Los Cabos and would absolutely return.

We just got back from our honeymoon at Riu Santa Fe. Overall it was a good experience. A couple things: Our villa seemed to have some power problems with flickering lights, power went out for a couple minutes and the water stopped mid shower which is never fun. There was also an alarm that went off before 7am in our villa, villa 7, which I heard happened previous times in the same villa. It was a false alarm which said to exit the building and of course everyone who exited was not impressed by having to leave the building and having little explanation as to why it went off. The wifi is not easily accessible everywhere on the resort and signed us out multiple times. Also, be prepared for the mandatory environmental tax fee. Ours was 42 for 7 nights. The food was alright; We liked the Mexican restaurant the best, the italian and the buffets. And the serving staff was wonderful. The housekeepers did an amazing job keeping everything clean. Also, be sure to check out the Riu parties. The white party was a blast!!
