Please be advised that an ongoing waterproofing project at Heliconia I (Building 1500) is entering a side window replacement phase scheduled from Monday, December 1, 2025, through the end of the year. Work will take place Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding federal holidays). During this time, guests may experience construction noise in the area, including sounds from equipment, scaffolding, hammering, drilling, and sawing. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we improve the resort Guests with mobility issues are welcome to use our shuttle service for easier transportation between resort amenities. Please note that the property has no elevator access. Housekeeping is available for rentals after four nights. Resort fee will be collected at the time of booking. The resort fee includes: - pool access - internet The restaurant will be closed due to renovations. A USD 50 check in fee plus tax will be due upon arrival and will be collected at the property.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS! Such a beautiful view. The pool is amazing especially at night with the tiki torches!

Nothing really- everything was great! The only thing that was a little inconvenient was having to get a ride up the hill to parking because it’s so steep, but when you call the staff comes immediately to take you.

Wonderful week at HBR, beautiful grounds, views of Hanalei Bay and the mountains, fantastic pool, and the staff go beyond to help and ensure a memorable time at HBR. I look forward to returning to HBR.

Beautiful place, stunning swimming pool. The restaurant on site serves great pizzas. Facilities on site are great, pool, hot tub, tennis, pickleball, access to the beach. Activities offered were never timed right with our schedule so we have not experienced that. Overall it was still a great stay but would have loved a notch higher level.

No Luggage storage until room ready to check in. Having the option to upgrade for a better room at time of check in would be great too if anything else is available. Cockroach in the bathroom. Was there when we arrived, was the when we left. We were in 1511, had not exactly a good view being so low but ok. We had to walk through the back of kitchen/trash containers to leave everytime. Loud upstairs occupant and two cockroaches. That was my 40th birthday, (which I specified during booking, you have loved a little note or attention) I would have loved to get a big better. Parking can be tricky. We had to drive in circles because there was no spot available, while still paying parking fees. That was a little disappointing It seems to be mostly timeshares and front desk didn't want to replace our coffee in the room thinking we rented via the owner until they understood we booked via Booking.
