Santa Cruz Inn Riverside

With the Marriott and the Hyatt across the street, one would expect a little better clientele. It is cheaper, but it definitely needs to be updated. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Is not the worst but if you can get another option get it, because is old (Really need remodeling), expensive (I think too much) and noisy (There live some people, talking all night). Don't have enough parking.

This hotel is simply disgusting. The rooms are tiny and absolutely filthy. It is crawling with cockroaches and lowlife clientele. To make matters worse, the management and staff are astoundingly rude, and blatantly inept. Nobody in their right mind should ever stay there.

A friend recommend this motel, because it was near where we needed to be. I check the reviews and was worried about what I read. It was late so we decided to stay, the hall way had rugs, yes they smell, the room was small, looked like fresh paint, A lot of lights, tile in bathroom, I read about the roaches, I kept my eyes open because I was scared of them, an didn't see them. The parking is limited, so it first come first serve. Not sure we will be back this way any time soon. I gave it a fair rating.

We enjoyed the waterfalls and the courtyard. The old room we had was cozy and pleasant and clean but it is small compared to other rooms. We don't mind that.

The room smelled funny and had bedbugs and cockroaches.

it is in a good spot . this place is nothing spectacular but good for the price . parking absolutely sucks though . but we found a spot around the corner .

We stayed at the Santa Cruz Inn for two nights in June. Architecturally, it was very charming. The check-in staff was not friendly. They took our towels, and didn't replace them with new ones. The Wi-Fi didn't work. We encountered a cockroach in our room right before we checked out. Ice is 25c. Our room had a couch, coffee table, fridge, and ample TV channels. There is not enough parking, one night we had to park across the street at the CVS, and the other night we had to park on the street.

Unless you're extremely tight and on the brink of bankruptcy, I suggest you spend an extra $20 for the next best hotel. It's not worth being treated like manure, spend the night in a funky smelling room, with "free" wifi that is nothing but some kbs shared among everyone in the hotel. To top it off, the terms are a little shady. Seems like they try to stiff you with $20 charges just for bringing someone over? $20 to be exact, per person... Tl:DR: Left to Marriott just to get away.

I normally do not give reviews. In this case it is important to let the public know for their protection. I stayed on Friday night and on Saturday morning I went to my car and it was broken into. I made a report with the Riverside Police. When I got back to the Hotel I was notified by the manager that a vehicle was stole from THE HOTEL PREMISES. I was told that they couldnt get my money back for my second night that i didnt stay. The reason was because it was after 2pm and my class was over at 5pm. I would never recommend thisplace to anybody. Please stop sending business to this hotel/motel.
