Drift Inn at Wyboston Lakes

All good

We were very disappointed to find that we got there at 3pm check in. We tried to use the pool and gym but it was shut at 4pm. We tried to get access to the spa and pay but it was fully booked. I wish we were told this before booking as we didn’t really know what to do there for the day.

Member of staff was very helpful indeed. His name was Dominic So thankful for his help above and beyond his job in sourcing a cab and bringing extra water and biscuits for us. Amazing gentlemen Room was lovely and clean, comfortable and bright

The breakfast was very poor, staff not very helpful when toaster wasn't working- this was a shame

My seventh time visiting here and its a great place for a nice away, very quiet with good room sizes and comfortable beds. This was the first time I was given a twin bed room rather then a large double bed room but Bethany the receptionist was very kind and sorted a new room straight away, also Bethany handled a customer before me who was abit disgruntled at something and Bethany was incredibly professional and helped sort the customers issues straight away. This was the first time I treated myself to a meal at The Gravel Pit which is the on site bar/restaurant and the food was amazing, the atmosphere was very relaxed with a great view over the lake. Book a room here or even some food at the restaurant its very much worth it.

The twin bed room was an issue but as stated the receptionist Bethany was great and got that sorted straight away. The Gravel Pit prices! This was frustrating as the prices on the menu are not what you pay in the app or at the bar as the menus are outdated. I was abit let down having to pay more but I will say the food was really good.

De douche was goed. Er is een meertje naast het hotel waar je een stukje langs kunt wandelen. Verderop is Paxton Pits Nature Reserve wat een aanrader is om doorheen te wandelen.

Er was een ventilator op de kamer maar geen airco. Het was een zeer hete nacht en de ventilator kon het niet aan. We hebben slecht geslapen.

Lovely countryside location it was very clean great breakfast friendly staff
