The location of this hotel was great. The room was very comfortable with all you’d need for a brief stay. We arrived early so took the opportunity for a bite to eat at the attached ‘Gravel Pit’. With views across one of the many lakes, in a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Food was freshly cooked, tasty and GVFM. All in all a great place to stay.

Nice breakfast. Good variety and well cooked. Very polite and helpful staff. Very clean everywhere

Couldn't work out the vibe of the hotel. Felt a little impersonal and generic. Drinks were somewhat overpriced in the bar. Wasn't very clear what to do when arriving for dinner reservation. Wasn't expecting to have to order at the bar. Food choice at the restaurant was a bit limited. Burger or pizza.

It’s a nice location, with a nice golf course. It’s a nice place to have a few drinks around the lake in the sun! Some games to play within the area too. Food was okay too.

Having no aircon in the rooms was unbearable. They leave a fan which does not cool down the room, it fans warm air around the room. What makes it so much worse is the heat from the bathroom mirror. It’s like a constant full wack radiator that you can never turn off. It was so uncomfortably hot, when in the toilet/shower, or having the door open. If you close the door, then it’s horrendous when you next walk in, so you cannot win! The games they offer around the bar are so expensive it’s ridiculous, it’s £25 an hour for shuffleboard or darts. You must book the spa before you go, preferably a week before, because it’s always fully booked up. We didn’t know this before hand, so paid for 2 nights here, and had no morning golf available, or no spa times at all available. The leisure facilities you get to use are as big as a kids swimming pool. Also they run kids swimming classes throughout the day, so you only have certain slots you can use it.

Excellent room,very comfy room great breakfast with tasty sausage, v good tv.
