Park Inn by Radisson Birmingham Walsall M6 J9

Found the bathroom had a strong stinky smell, told front desk then changed to a clean one. I like the wooden floor, Feeling clean and confident to stay. House keeping staff are friendly and done the good job. Good stay with on-site parking, easy to go out for shopping and eating with your car. I extended my stay from 1 night to 4 nights.

Service is everything and the staff are all about service.

I paid for two night seperately as i decided (last minute) to stay on the same night as well as the booking I made for the next night. The staff on the night okayd it. The next morning the Asian receptionist called me on the phone to say ive only paid for one night. I explained the situation over the phone and said i would come down to show her proof. I showed her both confirmation emails from Hotels.com and both deductions from my bank account for each nights stay on my phone app. She then had the cheek to tell me that I had only paid for one night because her system only said one night. I was about to kick off because what she said was the same as calling me a liar. She then told me to go back to my room and that she would sort it. When i got back to my room i realised that I was locked out and the access card did not work anymore and all my belongings were locked inside. So I headed back downstairs to reception with the intention of kicking off again. I told her that i was locked out of my room and her response was " I know, but I have spoken to my manager and he has agreed to extend your stay". On the one hand I was happy it was resolved but on the other, why did she let go back to the room knowing that I would be locked out?! When I later approached her to ask about the dining facilities she had a very welcoming look on her face as if she finally found the 2nd booking. Did she apologize...did she hell...not big enough or professional enough. Also peperoni pizza ..yuk.

Visiting university with my son

The lady at breakfast was lovely. Really appreciated her welcome throughout my stay. There was a man in a suit whos attitude i did not appreciate. In the morning i told the lady my room number and that I should have breakfast included so she told me thats fine etc. the man asked me if i was ok? I said i was fine and he asked me has she taken your room number? I said yes i have done that. The next thing he is asking her if i have told her etc and i can hear him talking about me. Rude. Vile. However, the lady was lovely. Im not a thief i would not be having breakfast if i did not pay. Further, the rooms were fine a bit like a prison cell not very homely. Gym access which is great even though its tiny. Happy enough. They should improve on their customer service well that man should. Rooms could be made a bit more homely

Dirty , old , not that clean

We was so disappointed with this hotel. Weve stayed in a radison hitel before and it was lovely. This hotel wasnt so good. The room we had was extremely hot. The air-conditioning unit was near the front door so it couldnt circulate around the room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard. The windows are locked so you cant open them to cool the room down. We had a faulty kettle in our room so couldnt make a cuppa. They have a pool table but no cues so couldnt play pool. Staff wernt too friendly to be honest.

Staff Helpful, Prices Good via Hotels.com but only problem was the other guess, arguing all night,

My stay was a decent experience. The room was clean and also the bathroom too. I was surprised there was no tv remote control and when I had a shower the water wasn’t draining and so was spreading out into the bathroom.

After contacting the hotel to say we didn’t need a family room they told us to speak to hotels.com as they didn’t have the option to help us which we thought was odd !!! On arrival weeks later we were then told we couldn’t order any food as they had two coach loads of people that took priority!!! My guests had travelled from both ends of the country for a weekend together which was spoilt. We were offered a free breakfast as they wouldn’t let us order food so we accepted and then went for a drink in the bar to find only one bar staff member serving two coach loads of people. The poor girl could obviously not cope and had been left on her own. We left the bar and went to our rooms to discuss or options. In the morning we awoke and went for breakfast to be told again that there was no breakfast available for us although we were in the restaurant area for 10am !!! We were so angry we left before We ended up in a debate with someone. This is the worst experience I have ever dealt with in a hotel. I travel The length and breadth of the uk a with my job staying in Hotels and have never come across such a disgusting service. This Hotel is a disgrace and needs to be looked at by the owners quickly !!!
