Park Inn by Radisson Birmingham Walsall M6 J9

We really enjoyed our stay at Park Inn by Radisson. The staff was very friendly and polite and the cleanliness of the room excellent. It has free car park on site which is important. Breakfast and bar could have more options with food and drinks. Other than that excellent service.

Staff were great... but the hotel just felt a little tired. The room didn't feel particularly cozy and the doors might as well have been made of paper for the amount of noise they let through. Shower was hot and powerful though which is always a bonus.

When we arrived at the hotel and checked in at the reception, the receptionist was extremely slow asking for card details over three times at different stages of the checking in process. Once in the room, the room looked tired but was acceptable, in the morning we went down for breakfast and the water to the room (later to find out hotel) had stopped working. The breakfast was extremely poor quality. After working through the day we returned to the hotel to be told that the hotel had to closed due to a law that if you have no running water the hotel must close. To be honest I was fine with that as it was out of their control, however the reception did not have a clue what they were doing! We were transferred to the holiday inn and given an address and when we arrived the hotel had no booking information about us us being transferred to their hotel. We then had to call around every holiday inn hotel in Birmingham to find where we had been transferred to by the Park Inn!!…. It was a complete shambles. The hotel could have quiet easily called us through the day and told us they were shutting in advance so we could have prepared better and wouldn’t have been late for our work meal/gala event. I have given them 1/5 purely because the staff and level of service was beyond poor.

Good hotel with helpful staff

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times as it is one of the most convenient locations in the West midlands with a multitude of travel options on the doorstep. As a director of a company who specialise in infection control PPFMM Ltd I could not fault the general cleaning standards. or type of service. I do have one small gripe.Breakfast is served as one lot so while eating your cereal everything else is going cold. Not helped by serving on cold plates. Will it deter me from future stays, No, I should be back late June.

A true sample of excellent hospitality.The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful.We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we’ll definitely come back again.I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, friendly staffs, clean and very affordable.

Was ok basic bed was like concrete hard hard air con wasnt working neither was heating there was a portable heater in room

Room was a bit shabby and not what I would usually associate with a Radisson hotel, however the bed was comfortable and breakfast hit the spot.
