People were extremely cordial and helpful. We loved the afternoon cocktail time. Also breakfast was either served in the upstairs parlor, in your room or back patio and was always freshly prepared. Proximity of walking distances was very manageable. Overall we had a wonderful time. Definately would go back.

This is truly one of the best B & B we’ve ever stayed in! We definitely plan on staying there on our next visit to Charleston.

I loved the historic environment and the beautiful setting, as well as the special amenities...made-to-order breakfast, tea, post/sherry brandy in the evening. The concierge service was impeccable...warm, helpful and responsive.

Staff was incredible, location perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping, historic landmarks, museums and many other “must sees” of Charleston. It was a short walk too, to the city free shuttle. Included breakfasts were made to order each day and wonderful.

This is a gorgeous property with well-appointed rooms. The staff is so nice and friendly! I cannot say enough good things about the John Rutledge House Inn. I don't think I can ever stay anywhere else when I visit Charleston in the future!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the John Rutledge Inn. Our favorite part was in room breakfast that offered us amazing food and lots of choices. The room and bathroom were very clean and well lit. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to walk around in the room.

Loved staying at this beautifully restored house. Staff was amazing. Perfect location. Thank you all for making our stay wonderful
