Buccleuch Arms

This hotel is okay, but the rooms are old and could do with an update. The staff were very good and helpful. Be carful when you book this hotel, we actually wanted to be in the Buccleuch hotel in Moffatt, but booked this one instead, apparently a common mistake made by many.

We arrived late for lunch but were catered for.

Hotel ottimamente posizionato, esteticamente molto carino anche grazie ad un bel giardino e con un ristorante ove si mangia discretamente. Parcheggio pubblico gratuito difronte alla struttura. Ottima la WIFI nelle camere, molto meno nelle aree comuni e nel ristorante. Personale gentile.

La mia camera era molto piccola, senza aria condizionata (purtroppo ho soggiornato in una giornata particolarmente calda) e sinceramente un po' datata, come un po' tutta la struttura che a mio giudizio necessiterebbe di una ristrutturazione per poter offrire tutto il suo potenziale.

Exceptionally, lovely staff, good food, the smoked haddock salad was excellent. Good breakfast. Beautiful garden.

It was very warm, with no air con or fan despite the fact the window didn't open.

Gardens very well kept a pleasure to sit out and relax. Food very good, the ham hock terine starter was great. Sasha our waitress serving breakfast was really lovely, just a glow about her. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were lovely.
