"Super location, great food we really like this hotel but its getting tired"

Good location, clean room and we had a super meal in the bar and breakfast was just what we needed.

The room and facilities are tired, our radiator was broken, so room v chilly when arrived. This was fixed quickly then cozy .. but.

Friendly staff and extremely comfortable bed

We had lovely bread with our meal in the evening but then got ordinary sliced bread for toast with breakfast. It would have been nice to have the good bread. Some of the breakfast items could have been warmer!

Very friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Suprior evening meal with quality ingredients reasonably priced. (The pidgeon breast with black pudding starter was absolutely superb!)

Had a bit of difficulty finding the restaurant (tucked away off the bar area) but worth it when I did!

"Stay friendly, location good and hotel was clean. For an older hotel it was in good repair. Food was excellent and fair"

Good location for visiting nearby towns of historical interest Food of high quality and flavour.

Just that it was a bit confusing where to go to dine etc as we were not informed of anything at check in.
