We’ve been to multiple places on Big Island and this one has the best shower Well equipped kitchen, everything you need is there Breakfast in the local bakery (5 minutes by car) Ocean view from room Overall good quality room and shared spaces Big windows in the room Welcome snacks Good WiFi Really good value for money

Room doors should be much more soundproof. We didn’t have many problems with the noise but we heard every single step in the shared space. Really odd hours of kitchen operation. It was closed 9pm-8am and the fridge was turned off for 11 hours (!) I understand they want to conserve the energy and don’t want to disturb other guests but the sunrise is at 6am so 8am for bringing anything from fridge seems ridiculous. They say that Apple Maps works bad with their property address but we used it and reached the destination without any problem. Google Maps was showing us much longer route to the apartment and to the breakfast bakery.

the access road was very pot holed. there was no access to the creek.

I in the place where I don’t feel like I am a tourist but living among locals yes it not what many hotels will offer but you are one with the natural and the real beauty of Hawaii, taking a shower in the open bathroom is the best thing I experienced and yes it has a privacy and comfort of of taking a bath with out worrying anything just enjoy the view of Hawaii 360 degrees

Location was very nice. Great view of the ocean and sunrise. Kitchen had everything I needed.

My bedroom was not as clean as I would’ve liked - roomba vacuum can’t reach everything. It looked as if there was no inspection for cleanliness. The house is solar and it would have been nice to know ahead of time what electrical appliances could not be used. I could not find staff when needed.

Everything was generally very good, the place is beautiful, clean and comfortable and the included breakfast is amazing. Would definitely repeat!

Being picky, I’d say it is not very comfortable to not being able to open the fridge during silence hours. Also, if the house is completely full, you could wait a while to use the bathroom.
