Basically a hostel with private rooom

The location is incredible, nestled in the jungle with a stunning, immersive natural setting. A truly unique and beautiful experience surrounded by nature.

Unfortunately, the quiet hours weren’t respected during my stay. There was still noise from people cooking and chatting loudly after 9 PM, which made it hard to rest. This isn’t the fault of the property itself, but rather some guests not being considerate

It feels like they are cramming too many people into one place. There are "rules" in place to help placate the obvious issues of so many people sharing one space, but they feel arbitrary

The location and the house were beautiful. Remote , but not too far away from the coast, Waterfalls and HiloI I stayed upstairs in a big room with ocean view. I felt I was in someone’s private house. The kitchen and balcony of the house were nice. The bathrooms clean. They also have small cabins with hammocks for young backpackers. They had an additional kitchen outside downstairs. I loved it and met other nice travelers. Next time I stay longer. Thank you.

Guesthouse was very much as shown: community spaces for bathrooms and cooking etc. and the location was great, very close to Akaka Falls yet outside of town enough to enjoy slowing down. Found great shaved ice at the Aloha General Store. We stayed in the king bed room, which was clean and mostly comfortable, but gets baked in the sun from sunrise. The room was very hot and could use a ceiling fan, the small one provided barely worked to cool the large room… and having the windows open meant listening to the neighbors dog bark incessantly.

My kids loved the staff and the country feel of things . It was a amazing time thanks to Rosie and staff excellent service. 5*'s.
