Ettington Park Hotel

Idyllic setting we revisited after 26 years . After all this time standards were still excellent & staff knowleadgeable . Lots of extra little touches and the concierge Damon is such a lovely gentleman . He’s been there 18 years so says it all really

Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff, great food and excellent facilities.

Stunning building and garden. Food was appalling rooms and interior old and tiered. most things on the menu out of stock. Staff friendly.

Friendly and professional staff gave us such a warm welcome. Our room in the New Wing was spacious with extremely comfortable bed and high quality bed linen. The swimming pool was a highlight especially as we had it almost to ourselves. The hotel building is stunning and the grounds extensive. With its Victorian Gothic style, it's not hard to believe the stories of ghosts at the property.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Rooms were lovely too and upgraded to a modern standard with air conditioning. Only downside was that the table service was not up to a restaurant standard. They looked understaffed and struggling to cope. Food was good but access to it was a challenge. Waited 30 mins to be served for an afternoon tea and finally gave up and left as they hadn’t even managed to take a drinks order from us. Shame otherwise what would have been a fantastic stay.

The website doesn't do justice to this magnificent hotel. The extensive grounds are immaculately maintained, the guest rooms, swimming pool and reception rooms are beautifully designed and maintained. Our reception couldn't have been more welcoming.

The building and surroundings was amazing, let down by the room condition, and hygiene There was dust everywhere, not just onntop of picture frames, mirrors etc, but on glass shelfs where tea making facilities are. No extra pillows and the ones we was given are awful, couldnt sleep. When i woke up and made my wife a cup of tea, she threw up , baring in mind shes 11 weeks pregnant !!!!!!! We foumd the milk provided was out of date by 3 days !! Absolutely livid !
