Grand Victorian - Spring Lake

We were planning on going to the Grand Victorian this weekend but ended in the ER for a medical emergency for 12 hours on Friday. We called the hotel and they told us that we wouldn’t be refunded but we could rebook to another weekend. We called back today to rebook and they took back what they said and are making us pay full price. The most horrific customer service from the manager that we’ve ever experienced.

This is a beautiful old home that is now a restaurant and hotel. The area is amazing. The service was wonderful. We enjoyed a morning walk on the boardwalk. A local breakfast spot was within walking distance and it was great.

We greatly enjoyed the Grand Victorian. The staff were very helpful, and the manager was very informative. We highly recommend the property to our friends and family.

Perfect get away for our anniversary and staff (including Allison) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nice. Very clean room, comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Only recommendation I would suggest to make the room even more perfect is a light in the closet and additional bathroom counter space.

The staff could not have been more accommodating, helped me select the right room and were exceptionally helpful about parking and local information. Allison was particularly helpful.

The staff ( Jeff & Ally ) are wonderful. Very nice place. We enjoyed our stay with the family. Definitely consider going back.

We traveled to the Spring Lake area for a family/friend gathering and stayed at the Grand Victorian. We were greeted by Bob and Allison upon our arrival and felt so welcomed!! Allison was so accommodating and pleasant. Her enthusiasm about the property was so infectious that we are already planning our next stay soon!! Spring Lake beaches and boardwalk are beautiful, we grew up in this area but moved away 14 years ago and were so pleased to see how quiet and peaceful this area still is while being so close to so much fun, restaurants and bars. We found our new favorite place and will be back!!

This hotel is quaint , ocean front and in a beautiful location , our room #16 was sub par . The bathroom was ridiculously small (which would explain why there was no picture when booking ) the shower tile was a disgrace. I am 5 4"and 130 lb and could barley move in the shower. The was water supply was abysmal and was barely tepid after running for several minutes. The heat did not work and we were freezing all night, the sheets were scratchy and I had a rash on my body for days. We left early in the morning cold and unable to shower . The guy in the front desk was pleasant & helpful . We wont be back !

Excellent location. Very clean with a beach decor atmosphere. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Allison and Bob were terrific!!😀 We locked our key in our room. We called Gail at 2 AM and she immediately opened our door for us. 😁😃What a great help and she responded to our call right away. The cleaning girls do s wonderful job and supplied us with extra towels. Will definitely be back. We stayed for Sunday brunch at Amelia's restaurant on the first floor. Wow...wonderful food and service.
